FOREWORD

Ive always been interested in health and wellness. It took me a while to really understand the impact that healthy eating has on overall well-being. In the 1980s and 1990s, I collected fad diet books and was convinced I would find the key to good health (and a perfect body) in them. A lot of those diets were about loading up on a certain type of food rather than eating a balanced diet.

While working as a makeup artist, Ive been responsible for making women (and men) look and feel their best. And while I know the power of a good concealer or red lipstick, what goes into your body has an even bigger impact on how we look on the outside.
