This delicious fruit leather is packed with antioxidant powers of blueberries and flax seed for a treat that is both tasty and full of valuable nutrients. And they taste so good, the kids wont even know theyre eating healthy.
Time: 4 hours 10 mins.
Serves:
Ingredients:
- 1 banana
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions:
1. In a blender, combine the banana, blueberries, flax seeds, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth.
2. Place ParaFlexx Screens on the racks of your Excalibur and set to 115F.
3. Pour the blueberry puree onto the screens and use a spatula to even spread the puree about 1/8 inch thick.
4. Dehydrate for 4 hours and make sure the leather is completely dehydrated and not sticky before removing from the sheets.

This basic apple leather is so simple anyone in the family can make it. And because there is no added sugar, you can feel good about serving it as a snack for the whole family.

8 cups applesauce
1 3oz. box sugar free Jello
Directions:
1. Combine the applesauce and Jello. Place ParaFlexx Screens on the racks of your Excalibur and pour the puree onto the screens.
2. Evenly spread the puree about 1/8 inch thick.
3. Set your Excalibur to 140F and dehydrate for 6 hours. Make sure the leather is completely dehydrated and not sticky before removing from the screens.
Dried Cilantro

1. You can dehydrate your cilantro with or without the stems; its totally up to you. Rinse and dry the cilantro and place it in a single layer on the racks of your Excalibur Food Dehydrator.
2. Set your Excalibur to 110F and dehydrate for 3 hours. Remove the dried cilantro from the racks and store in jars or zipperlock bags until ready to use.

This easy to prepare flavor powder is a great way to add the robust flavor of concentrated tomatoes to season dishes and sauces.

1. Slice the tomatoes about an 1/8 inch thick. Place ParaFlexx Screens on the racks of your Excalibur Food Dehydrator.
2. Lay the tomato slices on the screens in a single layer so they do not touch. Set your Excalibur Food Dehydrator to 150F and dehydrate for 4 hours.
3. When tomatoes are completely dehydrated, transfer them to a blender, and pulse until a fine powder forms. Store the powder in a jar or zipperlock bag.

Directions:
1. Place ParaFlexx Screens on the racks of your Excalibur Food Dehydrator. On separate racks place layers of onion, carrot, and celery. Make sure they are even layers.
2. Set your Excalibur to 150F and dehydrate for 6 hours.
3. When the vegetables are completely dehydrated, place them in a blender together. Blend until a fine powder forms. Store the powder in jars and use as the base for many soups and sauces.
