Spell to Attract a New Lover

The ideal way to find a partner is to let the universe find the right mate for you. Instead of fixating on a particular person, do a spell to attract the partner whos right for you. This might turn out to be the individual youve got your eye on, but maybe theres someone even better out there whom you havent met yet.

Ingredients

1 rose-colored candle

Ylang-ylang, rose, or jasmine essential oil

List of qualities you seek in a partner

1. On the first Friday after the new moon, dress your candle with essential oil. Pour a little oil in your palm, and then rub it over the entire candle (except the wick). Set your list on your altar or other surface, and set the candle on it. Light the candle.

2. As the scent of the heated oil is released into the air, vividly imagine your lover. Feel this persons presence there in the room with you. How does this person look, act, speak, and dress? Continue the visualization for as long as you like, making your mental images as rich as possible.

3. When youve spent as much time as you feel is necessary, snuff out the candles flame. Repeat this spell two more times before the full moon. The following is a small crystal grid which can be done in any appropriate area. It doesnt require any more space than the size of a dinner plate. Keep the crystals listed small. Use it to attract a mate or help bring balance and active love in the home.

1 activator crystal

4 small clear quartz crystal points

1 picture

Red pen

1 small rose quartz pyramid

1. Charge your activator crystal. Visualize love entering into your life and filling your home. Allow feelings of excitement to fill your heart.

2. Place the crystal points facing each other and in toward the center of your designated area, love corner, or altar.

3. Take your photo and write your intention on the back. Hold and charge the photo. If you are looking to find love, write a description of your desired love on the back of the picture. Include physical attributes and hobbies. Be creative but realistic, and remember the laws governing free will. If you are seeking balanced love in a relationship, think about where balance needs to be and write it on the back of the picture.

4. Place the picture in the middle of the crystal grid, face up, and place your rose quartz pyramid over your picture. Visualize a beam of rose-colored light sending a beacon into the universe. See your goal manifested.

5. Recharge your crystals and photo each day. Perform this spell every month starting on a Friday of a waxing to full moon for as long as needed.

Picking Your Picture

The picture should be of you alone if you are looking to find love. If you are looking to patch things up or bring about balance in your existing love life, choose a photo of you and your mate.

The following ingredients have been chosen for their soothing aroma as well as their association with love and healing. Rose quartz is associated with self-love and love, and using it as a magnifier will activate your heart chakra. Call on the energies of love to come and empower your heart and help soothe the healing process.

Ingredients

3 tablespoons dried lavender

2 tablespoons dried chamomile

1 tablespoon dried peppermint

White embroidery thread

Embroidery needle

6" circle of pink penne fabric

Fresh petals from one pink tea rose

1 small tumbled rose quartz

Pink leather lacing

White and pink plastic pony beads

1. Combine all herbal ingredients together in a glass bowl and mix them together using your hands. Visualize your hands charging your herbs with your intent. See your heart expanding with love, filling your whole body. See yourself healing your heart from past hurts and allowing yourself to be receptive to love again. Feel love entering into your heart center; visualize all of this energy empowering you and your herbs.

2. Using the white embroidery thread, embroider your astrological symbol into the fabric, where it will be visible once the pouch is completed.

3. Layer the freshly plucked rose petals in the center on the pink penne fabric.

4. Let your hands hover above the petals and charge them with the intent to promote self-love. Place the herbs on top of the rose petals.

5. Hold and charge the rose quartz crystal. Visualize the rose quartz absorbing all of the positive energy of love and light like a sponge. See and feel the rose quartz being empowered by the love you send into it. Feel the energy charging the crystal as the crystal begins to emanate the loving energies that will help activate and keep the heart chakra open and spinning.

6. Once charged, place the crystal on top of the herbal and flower mixture.

7. Gather the herbs, rose petals, and quartz toward the center of the penne fabric, and bind using the pink leather lacing. While wrapping the pouch, chant the following incantation:
   Love and light surround me.
   Love and light fill me.
   Love and light, you are drawn to me,
   Invoking love in my heart times three.

8. Cinch the lacing together and thread the pony beads through the lacing. Try to keep the two sides of leather flat and pushed together to provide a strong, secure hold while you string the beads.
