Introduction
In all Saurons power, knowledge and intelligence, he never thought to stop Frodo and his allies by invading breakfast or stealing their ingredients so they could never cook any of these 30 recipes. In our opinion, this was Saurons downfall; he underestimated the power that comes from when you cook like a Middlelander.
1. Sorry Sauron
First up is this healthy and tasty recipe. We can all agree that the world was healthy with Sauron gone. Frodo and his gang bid farewell to Sauron with this salad.
Ingredients
- lb. shredded lettuce
- 2 red apples, diced
- 4 medium-sized carrots, sliced
- 2 tsp. tomato sauce
- 3 tsp. Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 hard-boiled egg, sliced

Lay the lettuce, apple and carrot over each other in a bowl.
Add tomato sauce, balsamic vinegar and mayonnaise and stir.
Top with sliced eggs and serve.
2. Frodos Fried yam
What made Frodo so special? Food. What food exactly? This fried yam recipe.
Ingredients
- yam tuber, peeled and thinly sliced
- cup barbecue sauce
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3 tbsp. granulated sugar

Add yam slices to a pot of boiling water. Boil for 8 minutes and drain.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add oregano, barbecue sauce and sugar then stir until evenly distributed.
Add the yam slices in batches and fry each side for 4 minutes until golden.
Remove from heat and allow to stand for 5 minutes. Then serve.
3. Ice cream of Isengard
Palantir was not the only magic held in Isengard, the people of Isengard kept this ice cream recipe a secret because of all the magic in the taste. But such tastiness should not be hoarded.
Ingredients
- 2 cups whipping cream
- tsp. orange extract
- tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cup sugar
- 1 blueberries

Add whipping cream, orange extract, vanilla extract, milk and sugar to a blender. Blend for about 30 seconds then add the blueberries and blend all for 3 minutes until smooth.
Transfer mixture to an airtight container and freezer for at least 8 hours before consumption.
4. Lord of Donuts
The best donuts rule the rest donuts. All hail the Lord of Donuts.
Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp. mayonnaise
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- cup granulated sugar
- cup sesame oil
- cup confectioners sugar for dusting

Beat egg, mayonnaise, flour, baking soda, sugar, milk, vinegar and almond extract in a bowl using a mixer until dough is formed.
Roll dough out on a flat surface and cut donuts out with a donut cutter.
In a deep skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Deep-fry donuts in skillet for about 6 minutes on each side until golden. Then remove from oil and drain.
Dust with confectioners sugar when warm and serve.
5. Lord of the Ribs

- 3 lb. pork ribs
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 2 tsp. thyme
- 1 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp. cooking salt
- 1 tsp. ground black pepper

Boil water in a large pot, add pork ribs, season with salt and pepper, cover and cook for 20 minutes until ribs become tender. Drain and set aside.
Preheat oven 300
Place ribs in a baking dish, smear ribs on all sides with oregano, thyme and Worcestershire sauce. Transfer baking dish into oven and bake for 80 minutes.
Remove from oven and allow to stand for at least 10 minutes. Then serve.
