In our exercises we willuse Watercolors that comes in tube and were going to mix them witha small amount of water, for sure it will be fun.

Remember Basic colors are Red, Yellow andBlue, but you may see some colors with names like Alizarin Crimson,Lemon Yellow and Cerulean or Ultramarine blue, dont get confusewith it, as it has a basic colors which vary in Hues, Saturationand Values.

I used a Reeves Watercolor Set of 18 finewatercolors; its a good choice for beginners.

For our works, were going to use thefollowing:

A. Round Red Sable or Nylon Brushes- nos.0,2,4,6,and 8, used for all our watercolor works.

B. Flat Bristle brush-nos.1 and 3, use to createhighlights, use it carefully not to ruin your watercolor paper, youcan trim bristles to accommodate your work or use a worn outbristle brush.

C. Camel brush or a Chinese brush (bamboo) - a smallto medium range of brush will be use, for create soft edges in yourwork.

D. Flat Soft or Nylon Brush- A wide width is whatyou need a 1 inch is suffice, use for covering wide areas.
