Brad Booth is a forensic psychiatrist who completed his residency training at the University of Ottawa, Canada with a special interest in sexual offenders. He then continued fellowship training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He is currently co-director of the sexual offender unit for mentally disordered offenders at the St Lawrence Correctional and Treatment Centre in Brockville, Ontario, and an assistant professor at the University of Ottawa. Dr Booth focuses on the treatment of offenders with co-morbid mental disorders and regularly assesses offenders for the courts.
Sarah Brown has considerable experience in sex offender treatment programmes and in forensic risk assessment. She is a forensic psychologist, a chartered psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society. Sarah developed and is the course director of Coventry Universitys MSc Forensic Psychology Course, which is accredited by the British Psychology Society. She has conducted and supervised research focusing on sex offenders; for example, her doctoral research evaluated sex offender treatment programmes provided by British probation services, and she has recently supervised doctoral research on sexual grooming.
