2 pounds of boneless pork loin roast ounces of apricot preserves tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 cup of water 1 cup vegetable broth Add the roast to a slow cooker.

Apricot Pork Roast
2 pounds of boneless pork loin roast ounces of apricot preserves tablespoons cornstarch 1/4 cup of water 1 cup vegetable broth Add the roast to a slow cooker.
Combine the broth with the preserves in a small bowl and add to the slow cooker. Cook on the low setting for 8 hours. Remove the meat and place it on a platter. Cover it with foil to keep it warm. Transfer the liquid from the slow cooker into a small saucepan. Bring the liquid to a boil.
Combine the cornstarch and water until the cornstarch is dissolved completely. Stir this water into the boiling liquids and cook for 2 minutes so that it can thicken. Serve this sauce with the pork. Serves 4
Asian Pork Ribs
pounds of bone-in country-style pork ribs 1/4 cup of soy sauce 1/4 cup orange marmalade tablespoons ketchup 2 minced garlic cloves Combine the garlic, ketchup, marmalade and soy sauce in a small bowl. Pour half of it into a slow cooker. Cover. Cover.
Cook on low for 6 hours until the ribs are tender. Cooking juices can be thickened if desired. Serves 4
BBQ Beef Short Ribs
2 pounds of beef short ribs ounces of your favorite BBQ sauce 1/2 onion, chopped Salt and pepper to taste 1 teaspoon of olive oil Add the barbecue sauce and the onion to the slow cooker. After seasoning the ribs with salt and pepper, place them in a skilled and brown them on each side. Place the ribs in the slow cooker on their end. Cover. Cover.
Cook on low for 8 hours. Place the ribs on a serving platter and pour the sauce over the top of them. Serves 4
BBQ Pork Rib Sandwiches
14 ounce of beef broth pounds of boneless pork ribs ounces of your favorite barbecue sauce Bread of your choice Add the beef broth to the slow cooker and then add the ribs. Set the temperature of the slow cooker to high and allow the ribs to cook for 4 hours. Remove and shred the meat. Mix the barbecue sauce into the shredded meat and bake in a 350F preheated oven for 30 minutes until thoroughly heated.
Serve on bread Serves 4
Beef & Beans Stew
pound of beef stew meat, cut into cubes 6 chopped tomatoes 1 pound of canned kidney beans, rinsed and drained 12 o unces of tomato sauce 1 chopped onion 4 chopped garlic cloves 1 chopped green pepper pound of diced potatoes 1 teaspoon of salt Fresh oregano to garnish Combine all ingredients together in a slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours. Use fresh oregano as garnish, if desired. Serves 4
Beef Meatball Sandwiches
pound of lean ground beef 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper egg, beaten 1/3 cup fine dry bread crumbs finely chopped onion, divided 1/2 teaspoon salt teaspoon chili powder 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt hoagie buns, split and toasted cup of shredded mozzarella cheese ounces of tomato sauce chopped green sweet pepper tablespoons of brown sugar tablespoon yellow mustard Combine the black pepper, salt, half onion, breadcrumbs and an egg in a large bowl. Add the ground beef and mix well.
