About the authors

Florian Klaffenbach is currently working as a technology solutions professional at Microsoft. He is a well-known expert when it comes to hybrid cloud scenarios, cloud connectivity, and cloud environment optimization. Before he started at Microsoft, he worked at several companies in different roles, such as technical community manager and solution expert at Dell, and solutions architect at CGI Germany. He is also one of Packt's authors and has worked on books such as Implementing Azure Solutions, first and second edition. He spends his free time with his wife and little son, and is currently waiting for his second son.

Markus Klein works as a technology solution specialist at Microsoft Germany, specializing in Azure and Hybrid Azure scenarios. He has been passionate about Microsoft technology for more than 20 years, starting with System Center, Service Provider Foundation, KATAL, Azure Pack and Azure, and later the Azure Stack. Before joining Microsoft, he worked as an architect at Microsoft Cloud Partners. In 2007, he founded a cloud community and was the co-founder of some Azure meetups, too. He was recognized as an MVP in cloud and datacenter management for seven years before he joined Microsoft. You can find him as a speaker at conferences in Europe and abroad. He likes to support the community and is a regular blogger.

Suresh Sundaresan, a postgraduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, is passionate about competency-building in the areas of cloud computing and storage technologies. After holding the position of Group Head Competency Development first at Wipro and then at IBM India, Suresh joined Oracle as a cloud architect for their Managed Cloud Services division. After a brief stint at Oracle, Suresh founded Cloudsiksha, a start-up dedicated to cloud education. He has now trained more than 2,000 engineers in cloud computing and DevOps. His clients include major multi-national corporations such as Philips, JPMC, Wells Fargo, Accenture, Wipro, TCS, Adobe, Epsilon, and many more. Suresh is AWS Solution Architect Professional certified.
