ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Michael Fasulo is a writer, college instructor, and environmental activist. Mike presently teaches geography and environmental studies at Truckee Meadows Community College in the Lake Tahoe basin of California. An ardent environmental preservationist, Mike is a volunteer interpretive naturalist and a member of several environmental action organizations. He is also the author of VGM's Careers for Environmental Types and Others Who Respect the Earth. Mike earned his Bachelor of Arts degree of Sociology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and his Master of Arts degree in Sociology from Pennsylvania State University.
Paul Walker is a principal of Walker Associates in San Francisco, California. His firm specializes in commercial appraisal, asset management, and real estate consulting. Paul has worked with government agencies on several redevelopment projects, assisted in preparing an environmental impact report for a proposed landfill, and has worked with non-profit and government agencies to value natural resources such as old-growth redwood trees. He is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys camping, rafting and skiing in the mountains of California. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics, and a Master of Science degree in Business, with a major in Real Estate Appraisal and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
