About the Production of This Book
This book was printed by Thomson-Shore, Inc. on 55# Supple Opaque acid-free text stock, which contains 60 percent recycled paper (minimum 10 percent post-consumer), using environmentally friendly Soybased inks. For every 3000 copies printed, about one ton of recycled material was used. This preserved roughly two dozen trees, saved three cubic yards of landfill space, and avoided 58 pounds of air pollution. Soybased inks are both cleaner to use and are more readily removed from the paper when it is next recycled.
