The series provides an integrated assessment of the SDGs from an economic, social, environmental and cultural perspective. ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Therese Ferguson holds a PhD in Environmental Management from The University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She joined the School of Education at The University of the West Indies (Mona Campus) in October 2015 as a Lecturer in Education for Sustainable Development. She is the Coordinator of the ESD Working Group within the School of Education, and the Programme Leader for Change from Within, a school-based initiative in Jamaica which addresses violence and indiscipline. Her teaching and research interests lie in Education for Sustainable Development, Environmental Education, and Children and the Environment. She has published in journals such as Environmental Education Research, Journal of Geography in Higher Education, Geography Compass, Caribbean Journal of Education and the Journal of Education and Development in the Caribbean. Additionally, she has several book chapters, book reviews and an encyclopaedia entry to her credit.
