5-star reviews on Amazon for Live Pain-free
Im a 56 yr. old former elite athlete and currently an avid cyclist. Neck and leg pain was unbearable until I applied Integrated Positional Therapy from this book. It seems counter-intuitive and counter to all PT Ive had, but its practical and works.

I work with clients all the time who have pain and this is definitely another good resource. The wrist exercise alone has helped more than twenty of my friends and clients end the wrist pain that they had previously been convinced was age related and that theyd have to live with it. Not True! I highly recommend it for practitioners like myself as well as the average person who wants to heal themselves naturally.
Kathleen Casey
This is an excellent resource. Of particular help is the section on realigning the pelvis. I personally have had some low back issues L-4 and L-5 misalignment/arthritis and some spinal stenosis. By religiously doing these exercises I have avoided surgery so far! I am a yoga teacher and personal trainer and have found the stretches, techniques and suggestions very helpful for my classes and clients.

The easy exercises in this book have greatly reduced my chronic lower back pain. I would recommend this book for anyone who experiences pain and wants to take as few drugs as possible.

This is a wonderful book. I used the sequence for low back pain and it worked right away. More people need to know about this.
Cryogini
I am using the postures for the neck and find them to be practical and effective. I would recommend this product to anyone who is ready to become responsible for maintaining the physical body without drugs or surgery as the title suggests.

This is another very good resource for those who want to take a more active role in obtaining and maintaining their health. The techniques in this book are helpful and useful. Ongoing pain has given me a run for the money. I hate taking meds. This is a tool to educate and help yourself.
Lynn Ruediger
In very easy to understand terms the author explains how to counter the many aches and pains our ordinary and sedentary life styles cause.

This book has saved my back more than once. Ive lent it out to friends with back issues and pregnant friends who also found it helped immensely. And Ive given it as a gift to family members with back and pain issues. Its nothing short of miraculous

foreword
to the second edition
i m delighted, honored, and humbled to write this foreword to Lee Alberts beloved book, Live Pain-free: Eliminate Chronic Pain without Drugs or Surgery. Thousands of us waited impatiently for this important work to arrive on the bookshelves. When it did, I can joyfully attest it was worth the wait. This book is overflowing with wonderful, profound, simple (and simply profound) tools and techniques for self-healing. Lee Albert has been my go-to healer for twenty years.
I do not use the word healer lightly. When Lee first arrived in the Healing Arts Department at Kripalu Center, where I have been a longtime faculty member, he soon became renowned as a miracle worker. Having been around the spiritual and holistic health world for so long, I was not only skeptical, I actually rolled my eyes. I had seen hundreds of teachers, gurus, and self-professed healers come and go. Some of them had accompanying bad behavior to add fuel to my irritated fire. I want my teachers to walk their talk. In my world, permission to be human is granted, but permission to be arrogant and awful is not. Through the years, I had spent a lot of money on bodyworkers who bragged they knew exactly what was wrong with me and would cure all. Dancing and teaching yoga on thinly disguised concrete floors for decades had created all kinds of foot, knee, and hip and back issues in my valiant body.
Eventually, with a rueful sigh, I signed up for this new Integrated Positional Therapy modality to see what all the excitement was about. I doubted this man would accomplish much, but with a shrug, I marched up to the fourth floor where this stranger, Lee Albert, was waiting.
