Dennis has a passion for the scientific discoveries that reveal truth in both the natural and supernatural realms of life. He does a really good job of breaking down the great divide between God and Science. Most people of faith are afraid to look to science for answers, and most people of science tend not to look to God for resolving any of the questions that science may bring up. This creates an us and them mentality, and Dennis has tackled both sides, removing that way of thinking altogether. Dennis invites us to see the facts that science presents and explore how these truths are confirmed in the Bible and in life all around us. If you are a person of faith, I hope you can get into this book with confidence that all things point to God, the giver of all life; who created things in such a way to reveal mystery and point to truth. If you are a person of science, I hope you are willing to consider God as possibly being the answer to questions science is bringing up. We dont need to choose sides but rather lets dive in and explore truth together the way Dennis is showing us in this powerful book.

Acknowledgments
This is my first book, and for those who have not written a book based on scientific facts, the amount of work it takes to complete the task is daunting. You learn quickly that it takes a village to write a book. Im extremely grateful for my village.
As with every journey it begins with a first step. Thank you Harold Eberle for looking me straight in the eye and telling me that I must write this book. You gave me the inspiration to say yes to God and commit to writing on such a needed topic.
A special thank you goes to Jim Bryson for doing such a fabulous job editing and helping me to become a better writer. Faced with the task of simplifying the extremely complex world of quantum and string physics, you were invaluable at helping me have things make sense, maintain a consistent flow and incorporate a bit of lightheartedness.
Thank you to my physics associate-professor friend Mike Greiner for our discussions on these topics and taking the time out of his busy schedule to check my facts for accuracy.
Thank you Amani Hanson for the gorgeous book cover design, Emilyanne Zornes for your proofreading skills and Jacque Peterson for the detailed work of typesetting and prepress. Without your assistance, this book would look like a six year olds finger painting. Instead it came out looking like a masterpiece of art.
Thank you to the Quantum Creation team Scott & Jacque Peterson, Daniel & Joan (Joy) Statema, and Candice Eberle for your assistance and
support in getting this message out to more people. We are ready to take another step forward.
A special thank you to my two biggest fans in this endeavor. First, to my incredible wife Randi. Im blessed to have a wife who cares to hear and know what I teach and be actively involved. And to my amazing daughter Hanna, who is my number one student, giving me the encouragement to communicate this important message to the younger generation.

Sometimes people ask if religion and science
are not opposed to one another.
They are: in the same sense that the thumb and fingers are opposed to one another. It is an opposition by means of which anything can be grasped.

Foreword
When I first met Dennis, he told me of his upcoming book involving Quantum physics, String theory and God. This immediately grabbed my attention. Trained as both a wildlife biologist and a Christian theologian, I had often marveled at the symmetry between science and the Bible. But at other times, the chasms between these fields of study, and the conflicts among the adherents of each, troubled me greatly. After all, if God is the author of both the natural world and the spiritual world, shouldnt the academic study of the natural agree with the testament of the spiritual? The division is further exacerbated as each side seeks to enhance their position by discrediting the other. Certain theologians, intent on a strict interpretation of Genesis, for example, reject the scientific findings that Earth is billions of years old. On the other hand, some scientists mock the loose or nonexistent standards of proof for core theological beliefs. It is a battle that has raged for centuries and claimed casualties on both sides. Believing scientists are held with suspicion by their colleagues. Scientifically-minded Christians are considered less-than faithful. And the questioning public views the entire debate with growing confusion and askance.
