FOREWORD
International hedge fund tycoon George Soros is the closest the world has ever witnessed to a true James Bond-like villain. Bond creator Ian Fleming could never have dreamt that one day a composite of some of his most evil and dangerous nemeses would be personified in an actual person. Yet, Soros's international exploitative operations are a carbon copy of many of Bond's enemies. This book recounts over ten years of news reports about Soros, an actual "quantum of chaos."
In 2010, when Britain's Ml-6's iconic super-spy took on a shadowy cabal who targeted Bolivia with a coup d'etat in order to depose that country's progressive president, Soros decided the cabal, known as "Quantum," all-too-closely resembled him and his global enterprises. Soros and his investment managers and colleagues made a bid for the Bond franchise's production company, EON Production of London, as well as its corporate parent, MGM. The historic Hollywood production studio suddenly found itself in financial difficulty and became ripe for a "vulture" takeover by Soros and his ultra-wealthy friends.
Soros's backroom deals to steer "Bond" away from uber-rich villains who resembles Soros failed when Soros's friend, Leonard Blavatnik, a Soviet Jewish emigre, pulled out of the deal. Blavatnik was reputedly Britain's richest businessman while Soros clocked in at number three.
Amid the Soros takeover bid, EON Production, the Bond franchise production company of Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson, halted production on the film that was due to star, once again, actor Daniel Craig in the leading role of James Bond. Broccoli is the daughter of famed Bond film producer Albert Broccoli, who narrowly escaped dying after he canceled his ticket on BOAC flight 911 enroute from Tokyo to Hong Kong. Flight 911 crashed on March 5,1966, near Mount Fuji shortly after takeoff, killing everyone on board. Broccoli was in Japan scouting locations for the next Bond movie, which was, interestingly, You Only Live Twice.
As a result of the failed Soros takeover attempt, the next Bond movie, "Skyfall," provided more clues as to the identity of the mastermind of Quantum. The mysterious villain continued to profit handsomely from international terrorism, wars, and other mayhem.
In the Bond movie SPECTRE, it is revealed that Quantum and all of the other recent Bond opponents is led by a single individual, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, a trillionaire who engineers coups, terrorist attacks, revolutions, and social upheavals. Blofeld's capitalizing on global bedlam bears an amazing resemblance to Soros's brand of "chaos capitalism," a "quantum of chaos,'' if you will.
Blofeld uses an alias in his international business dealings, Franz Oberhauser. In real life, Soros is also an alias. The hedge fund mogul's actual name is Gyorgy Schwartz. Soros originally hails from Hungary. Many have pointed out that Soros is a constructed name like one of Bond's other villains, Auric Goldfinger. if the two "S" letters in Soros's name are replaced with dollar signs -- $ORO$ -- the monetary symbols encloses the word "Oro," Spanish and Italian for gold.
As a teen, Soros and his father Tivadar, both Hungarian Jews, cooperated with the Hungarian Nazi Arrow Cross government and the German Gestapo to track down Hungarian Jews, inventory their property, and helping to arrange their transportation to concentration camps. Tivadar was a major promoter of Esperanto, the global language invented in 1887. Tivadar changed the family name from Schwartz to Soros in order to assimilate into the gentile population of Hungary. Tivadar claimed he chose the name Soros because it was Esperanto for "to soar."
It is, indeed, a topsy-turvy world when a James Bond movie presents more actual news about what is happening in the world than does, well... the news. The movies "Quantum of Solace" and SPECTRE were probably the best since "Tomorrow Never Dies," the movie that portrayed a Rupert Murdoch-like character named Eliot Carver whose worldwide media empire manipulates news to advance his own sordid agenda.
SPECTRE wrapped all of the organizations that manipulated world events for profit and political power into a single paragon of evil, Blofeld or Oberhauser. In real life, the character could easily be Soros or Schwartz.
The "SPECTRE" and "Quantum of Solace" screen writers appeared to have agreed. Ml-6's enemy is a secret, almost unknown, global group of politicians and businessmen called the "Quantum Group" that has infiltrated the top echelons of the British, American, and other governments and manipulates the financial and political worlds to achieve maximum profits. Compare that to Soros bankrolling the presidential campaigns of Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and the true menace posed by Soros and his interests becomes very clear.
Making things more dangerous is the fact that Quantum, which is controlled by Blofeld, has penetrated the inner circle of MI-6. Again, in real life, the connections between Obama's close security adviser John 0. Brennan, who is also the Central Intelligence Agency director, and the Saudi government is unsettling. The Saudis are the chief funders of terrorist groups like the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), all the "Al Qaeda" franchises, from Afghanistan to the Maghreb in North Africa, and Salafist radical indoctrination centers around the world.
At the top of the Quantum syndicate, which was but one small part of Blofeld's larger empire, was a Russian oligarch who controlled Siberian oil reserves and an ex-Mossad Israeli who has captured control of the global telecommunications industry. Of course, such a script would have not seen the light of day if Hollywood had anything to say about it. But Bond movies are heavily influenced by British writers and directors and the MI-6 has had, over the years, more than a passing interest in Bond scripts. And since Britain has been the most plagued country in the world, other than Israel itself, when it comes to penetration of government by
Russian-lsraeli mobsters, last few Bond movies added close advisers to the British Prime Minister as top players in "Quantum." The mind boggles at who the writers had in mind and the names Tony Blair, Peter Mandelson, and the late Boris Berezovsky -- who died under very mysterious circumstances in his English manor home - immediately come to mind.
Quantum Group, through a phony environmental company called Greene Planet headed by villain Dominic Greene (French actor Mathieu Amalric), had already overthrown the government of Haiti because the priest they elected president (Jean-Bertrand Aristide) had the temerity to raise the minimum wage to $1.00/hour. The unscrupulous people behind Quantum did not like it that their cheap Haitian labor pool that made T-shirts in sweat shops was being paid so much. So Quantum overthrew the priest-president in a coup. In real life, Bill and Hillary Clinton have made Haiti their virtual vassal state, one in which Aristide is constantly confronted and stymied by politicians on the payroll of the Clintons and Soros.
In ''Quantum of Solace," Quantum sets its sights on a leftist President of Bolivia (Evo Morales). Quantum sought to replace the Morales-like character with an ex-Bolivian Army General who would quickly sign away Bolivia's oil and water supplies to, of course, Quantum. The plan had the support of Quantum contacts in MI-6 and the CIA. In real life, the CIA has repeatedly attempted to overthrow Morales through coups and secessionist uprisings.
"Quantum of Solace" was a sequel to the Bond movie, "Casino Royale" and it is discovered that the Quantum/Russian-lsraeli mob is the same criminal outfit that Bond was chasing in Madagascar and Montenegro in "Casino Royale."
