Break through old patterns of boredom and lack of fulfilment to discover your most brilliant life!
Your intuition holds the key to a truly inspired life. It can, however, bring with it an increased sensitivity, so overwhelming that some find it hard to operate in day-to-day life. Others feel foolish or weird when acknowledging their intuition. In a world focussed on science we have amazing technology and vast physical abundance. However, ignoring our intuition has deprived us of untold benefits in our careers, well-being, and relationships.
The Souls Brainreveals the principles of conscious intuition. These principles are part of the structure of our universe, forming patterns in our lives which are as fundamental as breathing. Knowing these patterns allows you to translate between intuition and science. Understanding the neurology and logic of your intuition will allow you live a truly brilliant and inspired life.
Catherine Wilkinsguides you through the nine-step process to conscious intuition. You will learn how tuning into your intuition is a skill like any other--all it takes is knowledge and practice. Science and spirituality have a common language. You dont need to choose between science and intuition, you can use both together to achieveyour full potential.

This book is dedicated to my father,
who taught me to never be afraid to ask questions,
even if he didnt like the answers I found.

Astonishing stories of intuition abound. In the dream that saves your life, alerting you early enough to a threatening illness. In the impulse that leads you to attend a function where you meet your life partner. In that flash of insight that gets you in touch with your lifes work. Intuition appears as a source of magic in our lives. But then, all things were magic before we understood them.

Would you like to be a magician? Learn to use your intuition as easily, reliably and confidently as you do anything else. Then youll be an everyday magician. But intuition can be tricky.

How do you know what youre thinking is intuition? What if its just your imagination? How can you tell the difference? Isnt intuition just random and unreliable? What told my dad to suddenly slow to a crawl when driving on the highway? He drove round that blind corner at a walking pace. If he hadnt, he wouldve driven over the motorbiking couple whod skidded out and were lying on the road.

Intuitions what told you to call your friend in distress. Its what told me to call a friend to give them the news that a mutual friends father had passed. I did that even though I knew she was among the first people hed call. Later we learned hed been so thrown that hed called her fax number rather than her mobile when he left her the message. Through my intuition, his message got through anyway. Intuition also enables messages from someone whos passed to get through. Or your irresistible impulse to change travel arrangements, which kept you from joining those who had a fatal accident.

Society is consumed with figuring out intuition. Does it only happen when you take drugs like Lucy? Are you an alien if you have it, as in I am Number Four? Or did you inherit intuition like Beautiful Creatures? Is it a gift you have little control over, as in Frozen or The Medium? Or do you get intuition from esoteric knowledge and study, similar to Dr. Strange? Were all fascinated by intuition; the power of its mysterious allure offers our life greater meaning and insight.

Intuition gives us hope and is linked to our drive to understand ourselves. Through understanding ourselves we understand the universe. However, to master our intuition we need a deeper awareness of ourselves. Especially the way our neurology works. Most profoundly, we have to move beyond our compartmentalized view of ourselves and our world. We need to know how were connected internally to Who We Truly Are and externally to the physical substance of our lives. We have to work with both sides of our brain.

For our intuition to be consistent, we need to understand the principles involved. Musicians understand frequency, chords and rhythm. Carpenters understand alignment and proportion. Artists understand perspective and color theory. Physicists understand quantum effects and higher mathematics.

These principles allow us to operate consistently. Without an understanding of the principles of intuition, life is completely random. Amazing people such as Edgar Cayce, Esther Hicks and Caroline Myss produce consistent results with their intuition, by working powerfully with the principles of intuition. You can do this too. Work at these principles and your intuition will become an everyday skill that can deliver extraordinary results over and over.

Like any skill, there are a number of steps to mastery. For intuitive mastery there are nine steps for you to work through. So hold onto your hat and take your first step. Your life is about to change.

Journey to shared value

From your first flash of intuition or yearning for a more expansive life, there are nine steps to intuitive mastery. Powerful intuition can deliver an abundant expansive life. These nine precious steps will take you from that intuitive knowing of an internal truth to a practical skill such as driving your car or working your laptop. Mastering your intuition is like walking from left foot to right foot and back again. When you take the nine steps to intuitive mastery, you do it from left brain to right brain and back again.

Your nine-step journey has three stages, each involving three steps. Why not visualize these steps as a triangle, each step reinforcing and supporting the others.

The three stages are:

  1. building a stable foundation
  2. growing strength
  3. creating true authority, through the logic of your intuition and the workings of your neurology

This true authority is your sovereignty Together these three phases make up - photo 2

This true authority is your sovereignty. Together these three phases make up the triangle of triangles of the nine-step journey. Well fill in the details of our intuition triangle of triangles as we go.

The first triangle is all about stability, about building ourselves a stable intuitive foundation. Step One involves learning to complete our life cycles, to stop our energy going round and round in pointless, exhausting loops. Are you caught up in endless loops right now? Thoughts going round and round in your head? Taking up all your headspace? Draining your energy? Thats an incomplete cycle. As soon as the cycles complete, your head goes quiet. Then you can use your energy for more useful things. The more complete you get, the more energy youll have flowing through your system.

In Step Two, youll learn how to handle your increasing energy. The key to that is keeping yourself balanced. Just like a good work-life balance, youll need to keep your energy balanced to keep stress at a minimum.

With increasing and balanced energy, the next step is to get to know your own energy. To recognize and understand your own unique voice. This is your own intuitive language. Getting to know your unique inner voice is Step Three, the final step in the first triangle that brings your life stability. Once you know your own intuitive language, youre ready for a wider intuitive understanding. You start to become aware of the importance of contrast, just as you understand soft because its different when compared to hard. You learn intuitive skills in a similar way. Here though, youll compare the external world with its myriad energies to your own energy. This means getting clear and precise about your own energy.
