This book is fantastic. I could not put it down! And it is exactly what has worked for me, while working with Abby. I highly recommend it.

Sandi Hintz , long-time client of the Ortho Healing Center

Reverse Button is well-written, and the recollection of so many client experiences is amazing. By reading excerpts to my husband, he now understands my reasoning for spending time and money with Ortho Healing Center rather than so many medical facilities. I fully agree that specialization has left a gap in the rehabilitation of the human body. So much is lost between facilities and doctors. Even with the software used to share information of patient history, little time is spent by the specialists to read that which is available. We must advocate for ourselves and demand alternative tests and treatments in order to alleviate our pain. Yes, there are times in which surgery is necessary; however, Reverse Button provides a much more humanistic approach to healing.

Ellie deBrauwere , Attendee of the first Reverse Button 3-day Intensive Retreat

Abbys knowledge pool is both deep and wide. In Reverse Button , she has distilled her reservoir of experience into a cup full of sweet water that anyone can drink from and find comfort for both body and soul. I understand that my body knows far more than my mind can comprehend about myself and so many other things. Yet I have not trusted that I could hear its messages accurately. Through these pages, I have come to trust that my body will let me know what it needs and that I will choose to listen and respond well, whether the message is about food, or activities, or who it wants to be around.

Vienna , author of Your Hands On Manual for Neck and Back Relief

Abby doesnt operate on protocol. She is very present with every contact experience with the client and what is 'up' for them in that moment, on that day. Her knowledge of and access to the therapeutic techniques are very skilled. I found more tools for self-care and awareness. I have a deeper appreciation for my body now! I loved the sharing of so many stories. I got way more than I anticipated. A lot of information! I feel really empowered and present!

Dena Baron , attendee of the first Reverse Button Retreat

For the Person Looking to Fully Regain their Whole Life Back

W hen deciding to write this book, I sat with my client list. While people come to see me for all sorts of reasons, the one that rose to the top was to avoid a surgery; particularly back surgery. Generally, it was a mature, successful woman who was doing all she could to manage all that she had going in her life with her career, family, friends, charity, etc. The pain was robbing her from being involved with these aspects of her life she cared the most about. Working through trying to get rid of the pain was becoming very expensive and time consuming; however, what is the alternative? She gives up and just accepts that she will not get to enjoy her life fully. This is just part of aging. She takes months off and goes into a surgery that may or may not actually correct the problem and brings many other risk factors into consideration, including the medications that would be prescribed. It all can be so overwhelming and depressing, and especially hard to work through when the pain is so great in your back you feel you are either going to snap like a rubber band or be collapsed into a permanent fetal position.

A few months ago, I had a client who came to me with the diagnosis of fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and a lifetime of pain. It had become her norm. She had done her absolute best to work with it as part of her life; like a relative that needs to be there but you dont really like much. She had raised her family, had success in business, and wanted to enjoy her grandkids, but the pain was always present. The one thing she hadnt tried up to this point was a treatment at the Ortho Healing Center with me. She made the appointment, not fully knowing what to expect and without too much faith that things would change. She just needed to take the edge off, she said. After about forty-five minutes of working together, she slowly got up off the table and politely thanked me. I explained that Id love to see her again in about seven to ten days to see what the body did with the information in the first three days and whether it was able to hold or not. Again, she nodded politely, but I knew she wasnt really confident much would change. However, she did make the second appointment. When she walked in about a week later, she had the biggest smile on her face! I am eighty percent better! she said. I stopped her and really had us both take those words in.

This is a woman who had been in pain for decades. Eighty percent better!

She said her family commented that she was interacting differently with them, and she wasnt quite sure how she felt about that. I asked her to explain what she meant, and she said the family said she was calmer. As she told me more, we figured out that this new feeling of life without the pain would give her the ability to relate to the world in a way she had long forgotten was a possibility that her body found a comfort and function that she had forgotten was still in there! By working together, we found her Reverse ButtonTM!
