Acknowledgements
Without the support of my loving wife, Jeannie, I would not have had the opportunity to study ving tsun or write this book. It is her time that has been spent in the creation of this book. For her patience and generosity I am very grateful.
I must also thank my teacher, Grandmaster Sunny Tang, for his continued patience and teachings. He has given me the direction and inspiration I needed to set myself on a path of continuous personal growth.
Thank you to my family for all the support over the years.
Thanks also to all my friends and kung fu brothers for their help in producing this book. Special mention must go out to the following:

Introduction
After more than 10 years of study in various martial arts I came to discover the wonder of wing chun.
I was immediately drawn to its gracefulness through efficient and effective movement, and intellectually sound reasoning. After the initial discovery of wing chun I have never looked back. Although I continue to remain open minded to new possibilities, it is increasingly difficult to find another art that is so in line with my personal philosophies or so logically efficient in dealing with situations.
