I stumbled upon the lost beauty secrets of the Bible in my career as a novelist. As I researched my first novel, Chosen: The Lost Diaries of Queen Esther, which was based on the legendary queen who devoted a year of her life to beauty, I was curious about what sort of treatments would have been available to women nearly 3,000 years ago.
To my amazement, I discovered that the beauty treatments of our ancient sisters rivaled our own. In some ways, these treatments were even superior, free of harmful synthetic chemicals and preservatives. And almost every product used long, long ago is being rediscovered today by the beauty industry. This book will unlock the secrets of those ancient women, the women of the biblical lands who still whisper to us from the past.
