The Veil: summary, description and annotation

We offer to read an annotation, description, summary or preface (depends on what the author of the book "The Veil" wrote himself). If you haven't found the necessary information about the book — write in the comments, we will try to find it.

For as long as he can remember, Blake K. Healy has seen angels and demons. He sees them as clearly as he would see you if you were standing right in front of him. He sees angels dancing in worship services and whispering words of encouragement in peoples ears. He also sees demons latching on to people and perpetuating addiction
and bitterness in their hearts.
The Veil chronicles how Blake matured in this gifting, while overcoming the fear and confusion of what he saw, how he learned to use his gift of seeing for Gods glory, and how to teach others to do the same.
This new and updated version of The Veil also includes a brief guide on how to begin growing in the gift of seeing in the spirit yourself, as well as an appendix of scriptural references to the spirit realm and angels, along with Blakes commentary on these passages.

All of us need people who encourage us in our gifting and spiritual life but - photo 1

All of us need people who encourage us in our gifting and spiritual life, but typically we gravitate toward our own way of relating to God and the things of the Spirit. Blakes book is a great opportunity to break away from what we are familiar with. His brilliant writing style takes his spiritual worldview and makes it accessible to us all. This book will expand your horizons, increase your hunger, and equip you for the days in which we live!

The Veil is a must read. I have been encouraging many people to read this extremely insightful book. In this book Blake opens up his life and takes you on a journey through his own experiences and shows how God has taught him how to steward what he sees and to partner with heaven in the process. Brilliant!

CONTENTS

I would like to thank all of the friends and

family that have made my life

as full and rich as it is. I would like to give

special thanks to John Pitzer,

Brent Brownlee, and Dean Porter for their

help in making this book what it is.

I BELIEVE THAT WE are in a time of great revelation. I believe that now more than ever we need people who can see. Im talking about those who can see physically into the realm of the spirit world. There are many in places of our society who have this unique gift. Many of them have hidden, afraid to tell what their world is like. They wonder if they are crazy. The spirit world keeps staring them in the face, and it is very realmore real than the physical world.

As we need them in our world, I always tell leaders to be open. Even though we may not walk in this gift, we need to stand up and be mentors and pastors to those who do see into the realm of the spirit.

The Bible speaks of seers. Many of the spirit leaders of the Old Testament, as well as kings, had their own seers. King David had Gad and Asaph. Saul had Samuel. Solomon had Iddo, and there are more. These leaders depended on the seers in their life; they gave them a place without abusing them.

Blake started out at a very young age. I have watched him learn and walk through this gift with its ups and downs with a lot of grace. One of the things that I love about this book is getting to see Blakes relationship with God. His love, his revelation, and his understanding of the Fathers heart will be life changing for all who read this book. Blake speaks plainly about his gift and what he went through. He talks through the good times, and the times where he hid his gift and why.

I know that I, like so many others, learn by stories. This book is filled with amazing stories of the seer world. Within these stories Blake brings out revelation and good solid truth.

One point is that being a seer is a gift that many can walk in. I found that, after reading this book, I began seeing things I had never seen before. There is an anointing in these pages for those who read with an open heart. Be prepared to receive that anointing. May an excitement rise up in you as you read the pages in The Veil.

The more we press into God and His wonderful presence, the more the spirit world will become alive to us.

Thank you, Blake, for bringing your life and your revelations to us. I feel this is the most insightful book on the seer anointing I have ever read.

AUTHOR, THE HAPPY INTERCESSOR

MY FIRST MEMORY is seeing an angel. I was two years old and buckled into a car seat in the back of my parents minivan. My mother was in the drivers seat, chatting with the teller at a drive-through bank window. A small cluster of baseball-sized lights was drifting in the air above my mothers head. The lights swayed back and forth in time with the worship music that played on the radio, drifting like they were caught in an underwater current.

My second memory is seeing a demon. I was standing in my parents room, straining to listen to the conversation they were having in the kitchen upstairs. Though I couldnt understand the muffled words, the unhappy tone made it clear that they were in an argument. I stared upward, hoping that would somehow make their voices come through more clearly. As I looked up, a face morphed out of the ceiling, seeping from the drywall like an over-heavy droplet of water.

Its skin was pale with dull features except for its dark eyes; it had sharp, pointed teeth and an odd, oblong head. The demon pulled free from the ceiling and drifted toward me, and I saw that everything below its shoulders was no more substantial than smoke. Not having much interest in what the flying ghoul was planning to do once it reached me, I turned and dove headlong into my parents bed and pulled the blankets over me. After a few moments of silence, I worked up the courage to peek out from my quilted shield. It was gone.

Ive seen angels, demons, and other spiritual things for as long as I can remember. I see them whenever I have the mind to look, and I see them with my eyes, just as I would see you if you were sitting in front of me.

When youre driving a car, you can look through the windshield and pay attention to the scenery, the road, and other cars (which is probably what you ought to be doing). Or you can look at the windshield itselfthe glassand all the particles of dust and water spots on it. Seeing in the Spirit is not all that different. You can focus on what is happening in the physical world, or you can focus on what is going on in the spirit world.
