Henry Reed, Ph.D., is a research psychologist with a private practice in counseling in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He is also the editor of a newsletter and a magazine column on psychic research for the Association for Research and Enlightenment and is a faculty member at Atlantic University.

Before moving to Virginia Beach in 1976, Dr. Reed was a research consultant to the C. G. Jung Sleep and Dream Laboratory in Zurich, Switzerland, and an assistant professor of psychology at Princeton University. At Princeton, he taught courses on Jungian psychology and dreams and offered the first regular course for credit in the United States on humanistic psychology.

His publications include numerous articles and two previous books: The Dream Quest Workbook and Getting Help from Your Dreams.
