Introduction

Its easy to imagine why you picked up this book. After all, who hasnt heard of, or doesnt actually know, someone who has had a psychic (or what we prefer to call intuitive) experience? In all likelihood, you yourself have had such an experience. Who isnt familiar with the feeling that theyve sensed something unusualsomething beyond the reach of their ordinary senses, and yet just as real?

Attitudes have changed a lot since we wrote the first edition of this book back in 1999. Many more people have opened their minds and understand the value that their wise inner guidance can bring to their lives. Weve changed our book as well. First, we changed the title from The Complete Idiots Guide to Being Psychic to The Complete Idiots Guide to Psychic Awareness for the second edition, and now The Complete Idiots Guide to Psychic Intuition for this third edition. For each edition, the new title more accurately reflects our intention to help you become aware of the many ways to use your psychic intuitive skills. To that end, weve given you more fabulous exercises that you can do by yourself or with friends. Weve also updated the material with new psychic resources and a host of online links for further study. We predict youll enjoy the results!
