F or those of you who have not yet read my first book, The Disappearanceof the Universe, you will surely burn in hell. Just kidding. However, a reading of that book, which was originally published in 2003, will make Your Immortal Reality even more meaningful to you, since its a continuation of that initial work. If theres a difference between the two, its that this book is more freewheeling, less linear, and jumps from subject to subject even more. This is a way to help generalize the ideas to every aspect of the readers life, while maintaining an uncompromising focus on a radical but entirely consistent spiritual discipline that produces immediate and practical results if utilized, and eventually leads to enlightenment and the end of reincarnation. Because the end of reincarnation is the end of the body, it should be emphasized from the beginning that what you really arethat is, your immortal realityhas absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the body or the brain.

As the human race is exposed to new ideas, it becomes more and more apparent that the teachings given by the masters in this book are, and will continue to be, demonstrated by science to be true, and the old ideas will be shown to be outdated. With the breakthroughs in modern psychology, as well as quantum physics, we are learning that there is no such thing as separation, even on the level of the world, except as an idea in the mind. The overthrow of the old ideas does not come without tremendous resistance, for as we approach the hidden cornerstones of the mind, our seemingly separate, individual identities are threatened. This is death to the collective ego, and it will not go quietly.

During the last three years, its been my privilege to personally meet thousands of students of spirituality and metaphysics. Ive gained the insight that people are ready for much more than most teachers or the media are willing to give them. Ive gained respect for peoples willingness to not only receive new ideas, but to question old ones, not the least of which are the ways in which great spiritual masters such as Jesus and Buddha have been presented to us by organized religions.
