Introduction
Curiosity.
The spark behind every genius, the fuel to ignite the fire to learn and to know. We're all born curious. Have you ever wondered why small kids roll over stones to look what's beneath? Or how they look up to different things and wonder? We've all experienced the fascinating joy to wonder. The sad part is that most of us stop questioning about the wonderful things around us and accept them the way they are
But there are certain people whose curiosity and imagination have no limits. One of those boundless brilliant minds was Albert Einstein . Whenever someone says the word 'genius' we have an image of a fairly old guy with a weird hairstyle and a moustache. Einstein became a synonym for the word genius and I can't think of a person who has not known his name.
But let's be honest how much do we know about him? He was a mastermind who won a Nobel Prize for his revolutionary work in Physics. That's all what most of us know about him but that's just a part of the story! There's much more to Einstein than we know. So why not discover more about him, his work and his life?
When the word 'science' comes to mind most of us think about complex chemical reactions or enormous mathematical equations which creep us more than the monsters under our bed do! But it is not true in fact it is way more beautiful when you start enjoying it. And this is what WonderPhy6 does!
It breaks down the complex ideas of physics to simple forms in such a way that anyone can understand them as well as have fun at the same time. When I first heard about Meme Biography, I did not know exactly what it was capable ofBut when I read the first few pages, I learned and laughed at the same time. And now I am excited!
Einstein's mark for us in the scientific community is eternal and his glorious work is one of the pillars on which we all stand on. He is an inspiration to many and what I've learned from him is that the key is to never stop questioning and never stop learning .

Preface
You may have read biographies of famous people before but this book is certainly different from all of them. Biographies tell you the life and ideals of a person, a popular person . But sometimes they get boring, and complex. We all know how complicated life is! We wanted to tell the stories of famous scientists, their lives and their theories. But we wanted to do that in a fun way
We wanted to entertain and teach people at the same time! And then this book happened! This book describes the life of Albert Einstein who became famous for his ideas and theories about the universe. He became an integral part of the prestigious physics community. An ordinary clerk now knew the likes of Marie Curie, Max Planck, Rutherford and more But the thing that distinguishes Einstein from others of his era is his powerful imagination.
Without the ability to dream or imagine, Einstein never would have been remembered as a famous scientist. He understood the value of instinct and intuition when tackling problems, and inspired millions of people around the world. This book is about the same his life, work, ideas and stories.
Einstein was a great scientist, no doubt about thatbut he was also a man of great values. He was funny, modest and sometimes stubborn. His theories were considered bizarre by many other leading scientists but in reality, his ideas were very (very) creative! So what are we waiting for? Let us find out why Einstein is considered as one of the most influential people of the 20 th century and we are sure that, after reading this book you will wish to become just like him!

1 Who was Albert Einstein?
Why is Einstein so famous? The story of Nobel Prize and Solar Panels!
In 1905, Albert Einstein published a groundbreaking scientific paper able to explain the Photoelectric Effect . According to this phenomenon, when a light ray strikes a metal surface, electrons are emitted out of it. No one except Einstein could explain that!
Einstein clarified that the light ray was composed of tiny balls of energy he referred to those balls as Photons . So according to him, when these energized photons collided with electrons of the metal, they transferred their valuable energy to the electrons. Luckily, this entire idea can be understood with the help of billiards!
The white ball will be our Photon and all the other colorful balls are the electrons of the metal. Just one good hit from the white ball, and all the other balls start moving as well! Similarly, energy carrying photons of the light ray hit the electrons of the metal, and cause them to come out of the metal surface.
This paper was Einsteins entry into the prestigious scientific community at the time he was only 26 years old! Much later in 1921, Einstein was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for the same theory. With this success, Einstein made many close friends and perhaps a few formidable foesNevertheless, the photoelectric effect has many real-life applications solar panels are based on exactly the same principle!
A solar panel is a very thin metal sheet, which converts sunlight into electricity. But we cannot choose just any other metal for this purpose, we have to be clever we keep Photoelectric Effect in mind, and choose the metal accordingly. Today, we can have home-made electric power, thanks to Albert Einstein !
Albert Einstein was born on 14 March, 1879 in the Kingdom of Wurttemberg, Germany. When his mother, Pauline (see Photo Gallery) gave birth to him, she thought that Einstein's head was so big that he was deformed! And when Einsteins grandmother saw him, she was also taken by surprise!
Too fat! Too fat! she claimed.
Conflicting all those fears, Einstein grew as a normal kid, except that he learned to pick up things very slowlyNonetheless, he developed the theory of general relativity , which became one of the pillars of modern physics!
His work as a theoretical physicist inspired millions of people around the world. Not only that, Einsteins work is also recognized to have given birth to numerous sci-fi themes like time-travel, worm holes, among others. No doubt that he was the greatest genius of our times whose contributions to science have been matched only by a few others in history
2 Einsteins Inspiration!
Everyone is overflowing with creativity and talent. But only a few are aware of it we all need inspiration to start working on our dreams. So what was it that motivated young Albert Einstein to become a physicist?
In the hope of more opportunities, Einsteins father (see Photo Gallery) and his uncle migrated to Munich where they started a company that manufactured electrical equipment. Their lifestyle was not in good shape, and little did they know that the young boy would become one of the worlds most cherished personalities!
