INTRODUCTION

W e live in a special time in history when scientists and physicists are learning more than ever before about the structure of the universe. This understanding can be broken into three domains: (1) the nature of the very small, using quantum laws; (2) the very large, using gravitational laws; and (3) the very intelligent, using informational laws. The convergence of these three big areas helps us to understand our universe and how we humans fit in. This is ultimately coming full circle to the ancient understanding of the shamans, sages, kahunas, and monks.

The goal of this book is to link the deep layer of reality to the sacredness of life. The book is written in a dialog style as a way to make this information more accessible. However, the conversations are not verbatim transcripts but rather are based on my recollections, materials shared, and other writings. Dr. Matzke is the primary author, having incorporated some contributions and perspectives of Dr. Tiller. We hope to give as close to a commonsense understanding of this complex topic as reasonably possible.

Many people have personal experiences and abilities not decipherable by traditional Western science, which we refer to as psychoenergetic phenomena. Examples include precognitive dreams, telepathy, near-death experiences, spontaneous healing, and out-of-body journeys. Many researchers state that no scientific evidence supports the existence of these psychoenergetic phenomena, and some skeptics even resort to insulting those who lay claim to such evidence. Plenty of occurrences support the existence of such phenomena, especially for those who have experienced them, but a model is missing to describe these phenomena that are consistent with known physics. However, the field of physics has drastically changed over the past hundred years due to discoveries in information theory, quantum entanglement, quantum gravity, black holes, dark energy, and dark matterdiscoveries that do actually support these phenomenaleading us to propose that physics and psychoenergetic phenomena do, in fact, share a common framework. We shall present specific research that connects the two.
