At various times in the history of the Church God has emphasized certain great scriptural truths Justification under Luther, Sanctification under Wesley, etc.

We are living in the time when the Latter Rain truths are due, and hence God is giving them through Spirit baptized Teachers.

The Latter Rain Covenant! Who ever heard of it before? Of course we have read in Deuteronomy about The Days of Heaven upon the Earth, but who has seen that those days were to be introduced through the spiritual out-workings of this Covenant? What a Wonderful God!

No man could have thought these lectures out; they bear the imprint of heavens teaching. How marvelous the Book! Its treasures are deep and lie hidden, except to the mind of the Spirit, who reveals them to whomsoever He will.

Our studies in Exegesis have revealed nothing which in uniqueness and originality equals this exposition of the blessed Latter Rain truths. How our hearts burned within us as we listened to their unfolding.

Those prejudiced against the Baptism in the Holy Spirit; speaking in other tongues and the manifestations of the Spirit generally, we are persuaded will find nothing that will open their minds and hearts so much to these truths as this exposition of the Word. Its great sweep of truth, covering as it does, both the Old and New Testaments.

This treatise ought to be a required part of the curriculum of every really Pentecostal School.

Incorporated with the Latter Rain lectures is Brother Mylands striking exposition of the twenty-ninth Psalm, which is on the same general subject of the Latter Rain and Pentecost. The chapter entitled In Deaths Oft' is a detailed account of his seven-fold miraculous escape from death through Divine Healing.

We have made a close study of all Pentecostal literature that has appeared during the past three or four years, and have been in close touch with the subject and work of Divine Healing for the last fifteen years. In all this time we have not seen any scriptural exposition, nor have we seen or heard of any aggregation of healings in the life of one individual, equal to that which appears in this book. Prayer as well as reading will be necessary to a clear spiritual understanding of these lectures. Language fails to express the blessing they have been to me.

The Victorious Cross of Calvary has been made very real to many of us through the out-pouring of the Latter Rain in these last three years. The ever precious blood of the Son of God has proved in these times powerful in an extraordinary degree, both for cleansing and for keeping clean. This blessed baptism in the Holy Spirit with its Pentecostal sign of tongues" is the blood-bought right of Christ's redeemed ones, and many such around the world are rejoicing today in the fact that the Lord has immersed them in Himself.

Not only in Chicago and Sunderland, not only in Los Angeles and London, but throughout the United States and Canada, throughout Great Britain and Germany; throughout Holland, Scandinavia, Africa, Asia and Australia, the Lord has graciously kindled Pentecostal fires which no man can extinguish.

The author of the remarkable book, The Latter Rain Pentecost," shows among other things the significant fact that simultaneously the Jews are returning to their native land; the literal latter rain is falling upon Palestine, and the spiritual latter rain is falling upon God's expectant people.

There has been much literature issued of late in connection with the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, but nothing more scriptural or more satisfying has been printed than this remarkable book by Pastor D. Wesley Myland, which I now warmly commend to Gods people everywhere. The author has been equipped for the work by the Holy Ghost Himself.

Some of us on this side the Atlantic are very thankful to Pastor Wm. Hamner Piper of Chicago for printing the articles in his most valuable paper, The Latter Rain Evangel, and now issuing them in book form.

This Pentecostal out-pouring of the Holy Spirit brings into touch many of the Lords earnest followers, for which we have reason indeed to thank Him.

It was my great privilege last summer to meet many children of God in Pentecostal Camp Meetings in Canada and in the United States, who testified to the arrival of the spiritual Latter Rain. So also in Amsterdam, Hamburg, Christiania, Zurich, London, Edinburgh and Sunderland, the writer has experienced a blessed fellowship with those who are looking for and hastening the coming of the Lord.
