DEDICATION

To my little sister, Andrea.

Its only right that my first official book be dedicated to you, too. I love you.

hen your friend and fellow entrepreneur earns millions of dollars a year doing what she loves on her own terms, you listen to her, and you learn from her. And then you share her with everyone you know. This is why I couldnt be more thrilled that this book is now in your hands.

I have a vivid memory of the first time Amanda and I met in person. Im not sure who connected us or how, but we had been orbiting in each others universes for some time before we sat down for coffee and had a real conversation. It was a humid day late in the summer in New York City. The kind of day where the air hangs heavy, life feels slower, and a thick breeze from a filthy subway train whizzing by feels luxurious. I was on my way to a SoulCycle class in downtown Brooklyn, and Amanda and I had made plans to meet at Le Pain Quotidien while she was in town for an afternoon snack and a couple of lattes.

It was on that warm summer afternoon that Amanda informed me she was writing a book. As an author, I was ecstatic that she was taking her message on the road and making her heart and expertise available on a grand scale. Lets be real: Amanda is expensive. Her courses are a few thousand dollars, and her private coaching is the cost of a down payment on a small home. And she is worth every penny and then some. But the fact that shes now making herself and her knowledge accessible to millions of more people through this book is a testament to the fact that she is dedicated to seeing all women thrive.

It would be years after that day when Amanda announced her plans to write this book that Id find myself writing the foreword for it. In that time, I have watched her evolve into a force to be reckoned with. Not to say she wasnt a force before, but she has elevated her business to a level that expands far beyond what Ive seen in the standard world of online coaching. If youve followed her for any length of time, you know exactly what Im talking about.

Amanda Frances gives a fuck. She walks her walk, she cares deeply and genuinely about seeing other women succeed, and she is beyond generous with her content, her wisdom, and her energy. And I should know. Ive not only followed her work for years, but weve cultivated a friendship over time. Ive also done her courses and implemented her strategies to great success in my own life.

I now understand why its taken her a few years to put this book together. Its because the universe had bigger plans for all of us. Life had to align in such a way where this book would be needed now more than ever. We are in new territory. The game has changed. Opportunities are boundless, and you now have access to the best possible teacher to lead you through the process of being, doing, and receiving everything you want.

As a fellow entrepreneur who also believes in boldly and generously supporting other women entrepreneurs, I recently had Amanda on my podcast, Style Your Mind. She said something that gave me chills: The divine understanding is that well-resourced women can do some good shit in this world. Money amplifies people.

All women are meant to be wealthy. Regardless of our background, our past, our race, our previous mistakes, our education, the current state of our bank account, our parents, or their parents. Were meant to make an impact in whatever way lights us up. Were meant to experience a deep sense of freedom, give ourselves and those we love whatever we want, and more. And until we get our money mentality in check and know exactly how to call in that wealth, well remain stuck. And theres nothing empowering about being stuck.

I recommend approaching this book with an open mind and an open heart. Amandas philosophies around money are radical, spiritual, and powerful. From understanding that money is unlimited, to healing your past beliefs, to clearing the path so you can quantum leap into the next, most abundant version of yourself, Amanda is not your average money expert.

But shes the only one that matters right now.

Its time to drop the fear, guilt, and other bullshit stories we have around earning and receiving money. Money helps us go bigger, be more, and do more. Money helps us change the world. Period. Full stop.

If youre in a funky place with money, if your beliefs about what you can have, earn, and save need to be shifted, if your energy around money needs an overhaul, then youve landed in the right place.

As Amanda says, Remember: life is meant to be good. Its time to drop the struggle, babe. Its time to be rich as fuck.

INTRoDUCTION

T

here was a time in my life where I could have told you how to sneak into every single pool at each luxury hotel in Dallas, Texas.

I had become quite efficient at doing so.

Here was my strategy: I wore my swimsuit under my clothes. I told the valet I was going to the spa and walked straight to the elevator. I walked into the pool area behind someone with a key. Instead of charging my guacamole and vodka soda to my room, I told the pool boy Id just put it on my card. Voila!

Why would I want to go to all this effort to hang out at a hotel pool where I was not a guest? Well get to that shortly.

On one sunny afternoon, I was journaling, sunbathing, and snacking at a terrace pool in an affluent part of Dallas, known as Uptown.
