Introduction

Fear is a natural human response that serves as a defense mechanism responsible for activating the fight or flight response. When you are fully alert, your body is usually in a better position to respond faster to fight or flee. However, it isnt uncommon for this fear to be misplaced by being afraid of things or situations that dont warrant extreme levels of fear. This is where phobias come in.

While this is a completely normal reaction to stressful situations, there are times when these emotions and thoughts become so common that they start to have a major impact on our lives.

Do you often find yourself frightened at the thought, touch, sight, or feeling of something? Do you find it nearly impossible to control yourself when faced with such situations, yet you know very well that you are not in any danger? Do you find yourself wondering how you could have developed such absurd fears without you even having a recollection of what happened? Well, you have a phobia and you are looking for answers to your problem.

If you are tired of looking for solutions that dont seem to work or that seem too generic to follow, this book will give you all the answers you have been looking for. It will teach you how to end your phobias with little struggle. Living with anxiety is such a burden. It can feel like your flaws are constantly exposed to the world. Perhaps, you try to be perfect to convince others and even yourself that youve got it all together, while inside you feel like a mess, always on edge, always about to break from the weight of the unease. You can feel enormous, overwhelming, and lonely pressure.

Anxiety can also be a really difficult emotion to manage. After all, the world has so many stressors. Add to that everything you have to deal with as a teen. I get it. I wrote this book because I want you to know that you are not alone, that anxiety is a normal emotion, and that you have the power and ability to deal with it.

Ive had the honor of working with many teens who felt that anxiety ruled their lives. As a therapist who treats anxious teens, Ive also celebrated their successes as they overcame this burden. With some guidance and practice using healthy coping skills, you too can break free from your constant doubts about yourself. You can harness that anxious energy into the momentum that helps you strive toward your goals and achieve them with confidence.

Well begin by examining the different ways anxiety can affect your life. I will also help you identify what kinds of anxiety you may be experiencing.

Living without worry can be achieved - we all have things that we worry about, but we dont have to let that rule our lives. We can have an active mind and control our worry so that it does not get out of control so that we live more worry-free, healthier lifestyles. Contained within the pages of this book are tips and tricks to help you find your worry cure - to stop being sick, stressed, and constantly in and out of the doctors office. Take control of your worry and begin your relaxation training today.

According to a study at the New York State University, worry disconnects you from your total strength and connects you to fear of failure extending towards procrastination and absence of inner peace. On the side of emotions, worry steals away your sense of judgment and even a friendly confrontation will look like an attack. Relationship insecurity is closely correlated to worry. It is not about faith or confidence; it is more about the emotional connection between reality and expectation.

This book is dedicated to the people that are willing to take the necessary steps to overcome worry. Different strategies have been elaborated in this book to help you in choosing the best tactics to overcome specific worries. You will begin to thrive effectively in your workplace and relationship. Even the people that knew your circumstance will begin to appreciate the progress you are making. Life starts when worry stops. This is for you who wants to experience positive change once again.

What if you could master your worry and reduce the amount of stress in your life? With relaxation training, you can do just that. You can improve your health, visit the doctor less, and have more money and free time by reducing your stress levels. These types of feelings and emotions are often diagnosed with anxiety.

There are many different ways to relieve worry and stress - collectively they are known as relaxation therapy. The practice of relaxation therapy is called relaxation training. Exactly what it sounds like, relaxation training is the training of your mind and body to de-stress. This can be done through meditation, relaxation exercises, the practice of deep breathing, and certain combinations of aromas and sounds. Paired with a healthy diet and exercise, this relaxation plan will help you regardless of how high stress your job, family life, or finances are.

Anxiety is referred to as worry that is so intense and excessive such that one worries a lot about things that they are not really sure about. They will mostly have fears about everyday situations. There is nothing worse as being in fear of something that you are not really sure about. When one is experiencing anxiety, they will experience a fast heart rate, breathing problems, and fatigue which may last for days.

Anxiety is a normal thing that people are likely to experience in their day to day lives. You are likely to experience anxiety when you are requested to speak to a crowd of people. This is because you may not have the confidence to face them or even when you are not well prepared to speak. Some people feel anxious when they are expecting a test. This anxiety occurs when they are not confident enough to tackle it.
