E NDORSEMENT
As I read the manuscript for Mario Murillos new book, Vessels of Fire and Glory, I said to myself, Finally! Mario has measured the Church and the nation in this season and did not hold anything back. His honesty is like the sun rising inside a dark cave. This release is a paradoxit is sobering and refreshing; it is symptoms and the cure. I believe this revivalist has penned a treatise that should be in the hands of all who lead the work of God.

W HAT MAKES A SPEECH OR A PIECE OF WRITING great? If I said, I have a dream, most informed Americans would recall the historic message from Martin Luther King Jr. during the civil rights movement. If I said, The Emancipation Proclamation, immediately Abraham Lincoln would come to mind, along with one of the shortest speeches ever given (272 words), The Gettysburg Address. Today the speakers who made these words famous are entombed in monuments of marble, but their words are still living, etched on buildings and printed in thousands of books. The clich, the pen is mightier than the sword, has been proven, especially when sinners are converted after hearing or reading the words of the prophets and apostles recorded in the Bible.
Vessels of Fire and Glory was penned under divine inspiration and spiritual revelation as the Holy Spirit spoke to Mario Murillo. He is a man who is a voice and not an echo. He is more of a prophet than a pulpiteer. His office is an evangelist, but his assignment is to warn America, especially the Church, and pull the showtime curtain down, exposing an anemic Christianity, a toothless churchianity so weak that it cannot take a bite out of sin and whose theme should be, Come as you are and leave the same.
In an age when technology is more important than theology, and Sunday services leave Jesus outside knocking on the door trying to get into His Fathers house, we are either on the edge of a national revival or a riot. Without a true humbling and a breakthrough, this nation is at a tipping point of disaster.
However, in this book, which is more of a manifesto, the false is exposed, the truth is declared, and the fire of hope is handed to the reader. This book will ignite the readers own personal God encounter that can set them on the course for the last end-time revival. Read these words and allow them to soak into your spirit and transform your thinking.
When Samson was at his worst moment in life, blind, bound, and going around and around, grinding at a millstone, he cried out for God to remember him one more time. His prayer restored the anointing and brought the house down on his enemies. His last move of the Holy Spirit was his greatest. There is a generation marked for one last outpouringthe greatest. Will we cry out like Samson and be restored to the fullness of the glory of God? Let this book help lead you into your God assignment.

Introduction
T HE G ODSEND
D ID YOU EVER WONDER WHY GOD ISNT DOING something? You see America being torn apart, battered into submission, and molded into some ugly weak version of her former self. All in the name of progress. When the moral bottom of society becomes the loudest voices of influence, shouldnt God act?
I believe He is acting. But it is happening in a wholly unexpected way. He is at war to save our nation. The real question is, are you ready to understand what your assignment is in His war to save America?
In a last-ditch effort to save America, God will pour out His Spirit. It will not be within the system but outside celebrated circles. It will restore much of the Spirit-filled Pentecostal churches from business-model entertainment centers back to a movement. Many small churches will become ground zero for the glory of God.
This event will not be painless. Wicked agendas will topple. False doctrine will die an early death due to the healthy appetite of young converts. Church empires will be given the ultimatum to return to dependency on the Holy Spirit or suffer total loss.
His miracle will be a great boon to some, but a horrendous event for others. It will be a day of rejoicing and mourning. A panoply of extremes.
If you think the next revival is something to grow your churchforget it! This time it will be an act of war. It must topple man-made religious empires led by those who are traitors to their original calling. It must raise up those unknown and unesteemed to places of power and influence.
Saving a nation in our condition cant be painless or comfortable. The kind of moral awakening God prescribes for us must be messy and glorious.
Take Acts chapter 5 as a model. The casual observer would be stunned and baffled. On the one hand, God is using the shadow of Peter to heal thousands in the streets. On the other hand, God is killing people in church. The day of the Lord is darkness and light, blessing and judgment, healing and death. The day of the Lord is one of the only things described in the Bible that evokes equal parts yearning and dread.
Take Amos 5:18 and Psalm 110:3 as examples:
Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! For what good is the day of the Lord to you? It will be darkness, and not light.
Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power; in the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.
