ROBERT A. SCHULLER
AND
DOUGLAS DI SENNA D.C., F.I.C.A.
I am extremely proud of my son, Dr. Robert A. Schuller. His foresight, knowledge, and wisdom are to be commended. He is someone you need to hear. The combination of Robert with Dr. Douglas Di Senna is one that bridges health science and religion in a unique and special way. Doug has been very helpful to me and my wife, Arvella. His gentle and loving demeanor immediately sets the tone and pace for the healing power of God to flow.
I want to encourage you to read every word. Follow the suggestions and begin the process of Possibility Living today. Some of the steps are challenging. I personally struggle with the challenge of eating as healthfully as I should. But, when I do, I notice a difference not only in my waist, but in my vitality and spirit.
I want to thank Robert and Doug for clarifying and putting into words the way I have tried to live my life. Because it is Possibility Living that gives us the ability to fulfill our God-given potential, I believe that I am in process of doing that. As a result, I believe that the next thirty years will be my best ever. Dont ever give up on life and dont ever quit. God has designed you to live a healthy, energetic, and fulfilled life. I have lived that philosophy for over seventy years I plan on preaching and being active in the church until the day God calls me home and I challenge you to live every day with the possibilities that God is giving you.
Dr. Robert H. Schuller

Jesus spent his ministry communicating this reality. He began with the spiritual. His baptism was a coronationa time of spiritual empowerment. He was given the gift of the Holy Spirit to protect, guide, and strengthen him. Immediately afterward, he took the time needed for preparation and cleansing by going into solitude for fasting and prayer for forty days and nights.
Jesus was more that a spiritual teacher; he was a psychologist of the finest order. He enlightened people about their potential and gave them hope. He gave us the keys to happiness. After dinner, it is not unusual for the family to read the Beatitudes. They were given to us by Jesus when he prepared his Sermon on the Mount, his first recorded sermon, delivered on a hillside by the Sea of Galilee. There, overlooking this beautiful freshwater lake, Jesus told us how happiness works:
Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor
Happy are those who mourn
Happy are those who are humble
Happy are those whose greatest desire is to do what God requires
Happy are those who are merciful to others
Happy are the pure in heart
Happy are those who work for peace
Happy are those who are persecuted
Happy are you when people insult, persecute you and tell all kinds of evil lies against you.
Matthew 5:1-11
Happiness does not have its source in circumstances outside ourselves, but in the spirit of the living God within. It comes from the spiritual reality of God impacting our emotional base and creating happiness. The goal of psychotherapy is to create happiness or peace. Jesus gave us the key.
Jesus was the greatest physician the world has ever seen. He healed thousands of people on a regular basis. The mistake we make in interpreting this history given in the Scriptures is to assume that his healing power was miraculous and therefore not repeatable.
John Wimber, founder of Vineyard Ministries, taught at Fuller Theological Seminary in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The only professor without the proper credentials, he taught the class Signs and Wonders. His teaching, which became the premise of his more than one thousand churches, is that Jesus gave us the power to do miraculous things through his disciples. That means you and Ianyone who has enough faith to put the principles into practicecould perform the same miracles that Jesus shared with us. With this thought, we are reminded of just how much we do not know.
Current scientific thought supports the limited nature of our present vision. Quantum mechanics is discovering that there is a spiritual realm within the cosmos. We say spiritual because that is the realm of the invisible and nonexperiential. Scientists are discovering a world of extra dimensions where the laws of space and time no longer apply, a supernatural world, a world in which anything is possible. The biblical words are being proven, Nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
The healing power of the human being is immense. Jesus tapped into this divine power, and the physical reality was that people became well. By reading these pages, you can discover the power to find health, wholeness, and peace. It can become your own personal miracle.
