INTRODUCTION
Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name? And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness! - Matthew 7:21-23
There were people in Jesus' day who assumed they were His friends because they knew the Law, made stringent rules for themselves and others and listened to His teaching. They followed Him, celebrated the miracles, and nodded in agreement to some of what He said. But Jesus calls them evildoers and says to them, I dont know you.
Today, there are thousands of people who know about Jesus. They know some facts about Him, memorize Bible verses, and even attend church consistently. But they have not once allowed the realities to become their personal experience. They have a knowledge of God, but the power is absent in their lives. Jesus says about these people : These people draw near to Me with their mouth and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.
Religious activities are not the same as a relationship with Christ. We are not Gods children by doing Christian things. We can know the facts of Jesus' death and resurrection, but until we have made Him our Lord, the facts do us no good. This book is intended to empower everyone to identify with Christs person and experience His reality. Whether youre a seeker , a new Christian, or an established Christian, this devotional will highlight divine truths about the Messiah and lead you to experience Him like never before.
Read this devotional daily and meditate on the lessons. Use the prayers to draw near to God and let Jesus speak to you specifically. You will find peace and fulfillment. Your life will change, and your purpose will be made clearer
DAY 1: THE CREATOR
For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether throne or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him, all things hold together. - Colossians. 1:16 -17.
Creation as a whole is a great wonder and beauty. Every piece of it reveals an intelligent and purposeful architect. Just imagine the beauty of the rainbow, the flowers, the clouds, the mountains, and the hills. They all point us to the wonders and wisdom of a Mighty Being behind creation.
The theory of evolution, one of mans attempts to give credit to blind chance and religion is not sustainable for lack of evidence. The Bible is a revelation from God. It is the only available and reliable record of the creator and creation that is sustainable. It shows how God made all things and the reason for their creation.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
All things originated from God. And in God, we have Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Verse 26 of Genesis Chapter 1 expressly introduces this mystery.
God said, let us...
God was speaking to His members in the Godhead. In the Godhead, we have the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit all God distinct, but inseparable.
So when the Apostle Paul said that by Him all things were created , He was right. Jesus created all things and all things exist by him. He is the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He is the one who appeared to Moses in the burning bush. He is the one Israel worshipped all the time in the wilderness. He is the creator and the sustainer of all things.
Jesus is the source of all life. He is the source of your very being.
Knowing Him, the creator, as your Lord and Savior will make an enormous difference in your life. As the porter, He is still creating and recreating today. Bring all your hurts and broken parts to Him. He will make something beautiful out of them.
As the Creator of all things, nothing is impossible with Him. He is still creating new opportunities today.
PRAYER
Lord Jesus, You are the creator of all things in heaven and on earth. I recognize You as the creator today and pray that You create in me a new heart that will always put You first in life.
You are the potter, Lord, and we are the clay in Your hands. I pray that as the clay in Your hands, mold and shape my life to suit and fit into Your eternal purpose, in Jesus name.
Amen.

NOTEWORTHY
As the Creator of all things, nothing is impossible with Jesus. Trust him with your broken parts; He will create new opportunities for you.
DAY 2: THE SON OF GOD
And a voice came from heaven: you are my son whom I love, with you I am well pleased. - Mark 1:11.
Jesus is God. Absolutely. And hes also the Son of God.
I know this sounds deep for the mind to comprehend. But it is what it is. It is the testimony of the Scriptures, so thats what it is. We cannot know God by trying out our mind figurations about these truths, but by sticking with the scriptures.
Jesus said to them, My father is always at His work to this very day and I, too, Im working. For this reason, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him, not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His father, making Himself equal with God. - John 5:17-18.
For the Jews, this was blasphemy. For them, Jesus blasphemed when he called God His father. Only a son can and should cry ABBA, Father.
This misconception about the identity of Jesus is understandable. They knew Mary and Joseph, the earthly parents of Jesus, very well. They saw him grow up and walk the streets of Jerusalem and Galilee. However, they were in error because they do not know the scriptures or the power of God. (Matthew 22:29)
The knowledge of the scriptures and the power of God is the key to understanding who Jesus was and is, not science and analysis. It is the scripture that reveals all the works of God and His mighty power.
If we want to know who He was and is, we must pay attention to what the scripture says, not what our mind says.
In John 8:42 Jesus told the Jews: If God were your father you would love me, for I came from God and now I am here, I have not come on my own, but he sent me.
On two occasions, in His baptism and transfiguration, heaven testified to his sonship. Only those who accept this revelation are given the right to become the children of God. Those who reject and question this revelation reject Gods offer of salvation.
