FOREWORD

W HEN I WAS ASKED towrite the foreword for Lightworker: A Call to Authenticity, the honor humbled me in several ways.

There are experiences and lessons brought tous that allow us to learn and to create our own clearer path tofinding our Authentic Self. Lloyd has personally helped me alongthis part of my Journey here on the Earthly plane at this time ofstepping into my Lightworker (Authentic Self) role, not onlythrough his healing energy work, friendship, and support, but alsothrough his writings.

Whether you are new to your Lightworkingrole, or are a veteran in these areas, it is important at this timeon Planet Earth that we practice what we preach to the best of ourability, showing love and compassion in our daily interactions.

In Lightworker, Lloyd challenges usto allow ourselves to take a deeper look inside ourselves, toremove the debris that clouds our being, and to explore and stepinto our Authentic Self.

Lightworker is written simply, from theHeart, and touches upon fears that all Lightworkers encounter atone time or another.

Lloyd also shares some of his ownexperiences that have led him to step more fully into his ownAuthentic Self, and exactly what that means to him. Who better towrite this book but someone who walks their talk on a dailybasis?

When I agreed to write this foreword, it gave me anopportunity to step just a bit further into exploring more of myown Authentic Self as a writer. Was I nervous? Yes. But after goinginward, I took a leap of faith, and found I was actually excited toexplore this part of my being.

Our planet is aching for Oneness, healing, and Unity. Through love, and the expression of our Authentic Self,we heal as a Whole.

It is my hope that after you readLightworker, you feel this calling in your Heart, and giveyourself permission to be Authentic You.

A CALL TOAUTHENTICITY

LLOYD MATTHEWTHOMPSON

INTRODUCTION

T HE KEY TO YOURsuccess is your authenticity.

There.

I said it.

There is now no further need to continuewriting this book, because that is the sum and the whole of itall.

But your inner Heart has led you to pick upa book with such a title as Lightworker: A Call toAuthenticity for a reason, hasnt it?

Perhaps I should continue then

LET ME FIRST BEGIN by stating I did notintend to write this book. I had just finished The GalaxyHealers Guide, and was very much looking forward to focusingfully on my fictional stories for a whilealthough theyalways insist on portraying truths and lessons as well.

I had had my fill of teaching and leadingfor a while, having recently passed the reins on organizing andrunning the local metaphysical fairs, and wanted to lose myself fora time in the worlds of my mind or at least until I finishedThe Energy Anthology series.

But I have always been an Observer, aListener. From the time I was a child, Ive always been quiet, andkept to myself, yet watched all around with alertness andmindfulness. Ive always had a sort of natural meter, alerting meif something is right on, touching right on, yet still a bitoff, or flat-out off. Growing up in the church wasprobably the best place I could have been to polish thisintuition.

And the more I observe, especially in thesetimes, the more my Heart breaks.

In every circle and every culture, I seehollow and misunderstood actions performed without personalthought. I see spiritual groups operated as masks for sheer egoor the manipulation and control of others. I see spirituality posedand projected by people both as a crutch to avoid responsibility, and as an excuse for not confronting their own shadows, which is ahuge requirement for true growth.

Ive gotten into the habit of keeping listsof comments and ideas as they occur to me, and in the summer of2012, I began a list I had labeled What I See Wrong. Ithought this was simply a list of ideas to draw from when writingvarious blogs and articles, yet this list kept jumping out to me,and would not let me rest or focus on other projects. I knew thenthis was meant to be compiled and expanded into a complete bookandthat it was writing itself, before I ever set fingers to keyboardfor it.

Side note: I realize there is notreally any such thing as right and wrongthere is onlythe most helpful for all involved, as opposed to the mostharmful for all involved. That list would have been betterlabeled What Is Not Beneficial for the Growth andEvolution/Enlightenment of The People, The Planet, and TheUniverse but that would probably have been too long to fit inmy Gmail task list app.

And so, the key to your success is yourauthenticity.

The key to your growth.

Whether it is physical success or spiritualgrowth you are interested in, the whole of it all rests upon yourauthenticity.

Your realness.

My intention with this book is not topreach, scold, or even condemn anyone or anything. I am nowherenear perfect in these things myself, and write them as anexamination and meditation into my own mindsets and actionsabove all.

I am no teacher, prophet, or authority onanythingI am only a man, standing beside you, growing toward anddedicated to the Light of Awareness, the same as you.

My Heart and my hope here is to merelyinspire thought, introspection, and self-examination. That is allthat is needed to set the momentum of change and authenticityrolling.

If you are honestly and truthfully doingyour absolute best, for yourself and this world around you, thenyou are a Lightworker.

THE WORD

W ORDS ARE FUNNYTHINGS. They are able to hold multiple layers of meanings, evolveto mean the opposite of their original meaning, or evencompletely lose any solid meaning at all. Misuse, misunderstandings, and misconceptions add even more confusion tothe lexicons and dictionaries.

Words are merely symbols created tocommunicate thought, and can be changed, interchanged, ordisregardedyet their energy bears the same weight andintention nevertheless.

A rock is always a rock, even if it iscalled a mwamba in a foreign land. It still is what it is.But the word rock has also come to mean to accomplishsomething well
