M OTHERHOOD. Its two parts exhilaration and one part exasperationor is it the other way around? I suppose it depends, doesnt it? If youre nodding with me, lean in close, because its time to change our perspective. I wrote Bible Promises for Moms for every mother who needs to hear Gods wisdom for parenting in a world that values human wisdom. The world will tell you that Gods Word is outdated and irrelevant when it comes to the challenges of modern motherhood. Dont listen. Gods Word is as relevant and life-giving today as it was when it was written.

In the pages of this book, youll find hope in the midst of heartache, spiritual salve for your soul, and supernatural strength for your mothers heart. In shortyoull find hope. No matter where you are in your mothering journey, Gods mercies are for you. He is your hope. Hell meet you in the dark of night when your strength (and your perspective) is gone. Hell steady your heart and renew your mind as you meet new challenges and throughout the ever-changing seasons of motherhood. We have hope because Gods promises never fail. His wisdom is for the ages and, I think, especially this one. Oh, how we need to hear His gentle and wise voice right now.

Im so glad that Gods promises dont change. They dont depend on our strength or our performance. Theyre an anchor for our souls and a sure foundation upon which we can start to build and shape the character of the next generation.

One glimpse of things from Gods perspective can change ours.

Can you hear Him? Hes whispering, I love you through the pages of the Bible. He sees your struggle and says, Im right here by your side.

Lean in to His promises today. God has you in His grasp. Lean in and ask for His help as you seek Gods perspective with your whole heart. The Bible displays the heart of the Father on every page. Youll find everything covered in this book, from abandonment to yearningbecause Gods promises are for you. You can use Bible Promises for Moms to look things up topically, whether as part of your daily devotions or to counsel another mom. No matter how you use it, I pray your heart will be steadied and your load lightened by the beautiful promises of God.

Abandonment

Adoption

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress.
