The Spiritual Slaughter: summary, description and annotation

What is the most resilient parasite? An idea. Resilient but highly contagious. Once an idea has taken hold of the brain, its almost impossible to eradicate. This was a quote from the movie Inception. This book would become a reminder of the lost and will be a parasitic thought for the ungodly. This world has changed tremendously, and what we consider being normal today no longer exists. God has changed our way of life to get our full attention. We live in an ungodly world. Some of His own children are, caught up in this madness as well. We must get back to the basics and become one with Him again. Living in this pandemic has forced us to evaluate our own soul. If we continue to live in denial, we become the clich of my book title. What inspired me to write this book was looking at my own mirror. I was living in denial too. The Spiritual Slaughter is quick to the point and easy to read. Like Gods Ten Commandments, I wrote ten chapters. Each one will elaborate on the emphasis of daily living and helping to remove our blinders. It doesnt sugarcoat or read being politically correct. Our God is a fair God. He protects, guides, and provides. However, whats important to Him now is our obedience. If we want to restore our way of life, we must surrender to Him first and repent from our sins. Thats the cure to this pandemic. I hope you enjoy reading these chapters as I did writing them. God bless you all.

Introduction

W hat is the spiritual slaughter? Is it something you can see? Yes. Your actions. Is it something you can feel? Yes. By both heart and spirit. Is it something that scares you? Yes. Only if youre God-fearing. When a thief takes without remorse, they satisfy the very dark spiritual core of their lost soul because they answer to no one but themselves. And then I will declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you who practice lawlessness! (Matthew 7:23).

In Gods eye, until they repent from their ways and accepts Christ, he considers them to be the living dead. As you walk throughout a dark house by candlelight, youre able to find your way. But when you blow out that candle, youre where you want to be, and self-awareness confirms that. But you cannot continue to walk about the house in darkness without the candle. Darkness without light is movement without direction. Whats the destination, desire, faith, hope, or purpose? Another fine example, fire has no shadow. The reason why flame doesnt make shadow because it itself is the source of light. Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life (John 8:12).

Did you know your heart records all of your actions, both good and bad, in light and darkness? Allowing God to know a persons worth at all times, its considered accountability. I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve (Jeremiah 17:10). However, mind and heart have always been in battle with each other since the beginning of time, like an airplane that flies. Our human lives emulate in various ways. As to planes, that must follow FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) rules and regulations. We must also follow Gods commandments. This gives us both direction and safety. Radio communication and cockpit area is considered the mind/conscience of us. And who has full control of this machine body? Us again. Whenever a plane crashes or when we die, emergency crew must find the black box. Its considered the heart as we know it to be, the truth. Sometimes the devil tries to control the human mind. However, the only one that has access to our heart is you and God. No matter how much sin you do in life, the heart only reminds you what really happened. More like a court reporter who gives you accurate feedback in the courtroom. Your mind can change at any time. That form of grace is a gift from God called freedom of perception.

In the beginning of time, Adam and Eve story is another perfect battle example of the mind and heart. Adams heart was pure and obedient. Eve was too, but the devils weapon of choice was mind deception. If you control and manipulate the mind, the body will follow. Those valid truths were told by book author Iceberg Slim in Pimp: The Story of My Life . Media, cults, government, and a handful of others are the protagonist of our time today. The devil knew he couldnt manipulate Adam so thats why Eve was the perfect target in his plan. The devil has used this same method for centuries. He wont approach you, but he will target your family members, friends, and partner just to bring you down. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). Stories in the Bible like Samson and Delilah, Jesus and Judas, David and Uriah, and Joseph and his brothers, just to name a few. When the devil told Eve if she ate of the tree, she would become like God, having knowledge of good and evil as God did. This betrayal is soon carried out to Adam. Adams heart was strong and true to Gods commandment, but the devils plan beguiled Eve to convince Adam with her seductive wilds after she ate of it first, forming a deadly sin together of no return. When God called for them both, they were both ashamed of their actions and naked bodies.

God already knew what they did in the garden. All He had to do was look into their hearts. Thats how God was able to punish them accordingly to the sin. Now that sin has been committed, the punishment is death. Just as God stated in Genesis 3:19, Your body will return back to earth from once you came from. Your flesh is nothing more than a glorified decorated Easter eggshell made of dirt. When the spirit leaves, the body dies. So where does the spirit go? The Bible tells us, We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord (Corinthians 5:8). Jesus proves that by raising Lazarus four days from the dead (John 11:3844). Lazaruss spirit returned, and the body came back to life. Now we read, Jesus has died and raised up from the dead in three days (Luke 23:3). No body was foundwhy? Christ was perfect and never sinned. When He rose from the dead, He was already of spirit living in human form. Hard to understand such informalities, but this book will help you understand the spiritual world and the slaughter were causing to ourselves.

Chapter 1

Spiritual World

For by him all things were created in heaven and on earth visible and - photo 1

For by him all things were created,
in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authoritiesall things were created through him and for him.

Colossians 1:16

T his chapter will help explain what, where, how, and why the spiritual world exists. Books and movies have been made to interpret this philosophical world of spirits or the other side. Like the movie, Ghost , with Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg. It helped us to understand where our souls go, but art didnt imitate death correctly. Books have tried to interpret the very essence of this mystical world. Some succeeded, and for otherswell, a lie doesnt care how its told as long as it told.

You may ask yourself, What gives me the authority on such a sensitive matter? No one. However, after I bring you to the lake, it will be your choice to drink the water. Your thirst will become greater after reading this chapter, and your desire for a relationship with the Lord will be prominent. We have life insurance policies for our flesh bodies, but what about our souls? Thats where the spiritual world comes in.

This world is basically a game of chess. Each of us starts out as pawns. Some of us have moved up the ranks in society as the rooks, knights, and bishops, adding as high as actual kings and queens. If you dont know how to play this game, the game will play you. Thats like playing Russian roulette. Only two master players stand firmly in this opposite component positions, both Jehovah God and Satan. This world dominance started before time. Some people can recall Satan being Gods right hand in the kingdom of heaven. He was considered the most beautiful angel in the entire kingdom and was second-in-command under God. Peace and harmony soon shifted in the kingdom when God created man on earth. Meaning the man we speak of is Adam. God gave Adam full power and control of earth. This authority angered Satan and caused him to become rebellious against God. Adam was considered beneath angels. He was made from dirt and not of spirit. With this type of authority caused jealousy and strife in heaven. Satan thought God was crazy for giving man of flesh such power.

Satans rebellion formed an alliance with other angels in heaven against God.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. (Revelation 12:79,12)
