Introduction W E ARE EXCITED to present this book to all believers who have - photo 3

Introduction

W E ARE EXCITED to present this book to all believers who have been called into a greater level of ministry. Many times newly ordained or commissioned believers are asked to do a wedding and their excited response is Yes! Sure! Then they have no clue how to proceed.

It can be overwhelming to look on the Internet and try to find the right reference or the traditional phrase for a wedding, not to mention knowing what to say at a funeral, or how to pray and dedicate a building, house, or baby. In this creative and collaborative work, we have given you at outline to enable you to move forward in ministry.

It is designed as an outline, reference, or tool to help you fulfill Gods call on your life. These can be followed verbatim or changed up for specific situations. Feel free to add some of your personality to it. After you have done them many times, you wont need to refer to these outlines any more.

The vision of Joan Hunter Ministries is to train and equip believers to take the healing power of God beyond the 4 walls of the church and go into the 4 corners of the earth. Through this collection of ceremonies, you will be better prepared to fulfill His call on your life.

I want to encourage you to read through this book and pray and ask God for your own inspirations. Ask God for verses to come to you and allow Him to give you more revelation.

God bless you as you continue in the call on your life.

Salvation The Greatest Gift of All For God so loved the world that He gave - photo 4

Salvation

The Greatest Gift of All

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

W ELCOMING JESUS CHRIST as your Lord and Savior is the greatest miracle anyone can experience. Welcoming Gods Son into an open and willing heart is truly receiving the greatest gift of all. Therefore, what a privilege it is to lead someone to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Explain Gods Love for All to Understand

The most important element of evangelism is the love of God for sinful man. Explaining that love to the lost in a language they understand is always the challenge. Despite our sin, God loves us. He will never leave us or forsake us. No matter how bad we have been, He still loves us because we are His children, His creation. As Christians, we love Him because He first loved us and sacrificed His only Son for our sins thousands of years before we were born. Because Jesus now lives within us, we can choose to love others because we know how much He loves them as well.

John 3:16 will always be an important verse in sharing the gospel with non-Christians. All the essential elements of the gospel are contained in this one verse: Gods loving provision for sinful man and mans need to understand it by faith and enter into His eternal blessings. The rest of the Bible explains what John wrote in one short verse.

Everyone Needs Salvation

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

We have all sinned. We have all done things that are displeasing to God. No one is innocent. The punishment that we have earned for our sins is death. We earned these wages by our own decisions, our own ignorance and blinded eyes. Eternal life is a free gift. Jesus has made a way. He has opened the door to the throne room for us.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Jesus Christ died to pay the price of our sins. God provided a way to be reconciled to Him before we were even born.

for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13

Jesus died to pay for our sins and rescue us from damnation and hell. Salvation and forgiveness of sin is freely given to all who believe. Anyone who trusts in Jesus Christ and calls on His name, as Lord and Savior, they will be saved. There is no age limit and no qualifying criteria. Anyone at anytime, anywhere can call on His name and be saved. Even with a final breath before death, God hears a final request.

that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9

Because of Jesus death on the cross, simply believing in Him, and trusting His death as the payment for our sins opens our hearts to Him. The blackness of our hearts is replaced with the purity of Jesus heart and His salvation. God honors our testimony of faith in Christs work and saves us from the penalties of sin. It is important to make a public confession of our decision.

The Benefits of Salvation

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 5:1

Through Jesus Christ, we can find peace. God is peace. Follow peace and find God.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1

Because Jesus died on the cross to pay for the sins of all mankind, believers will never be condemned for their sins. Eternity will be spent with Him in heaven. Now His Holy Spirit lives within us.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39

By faith in Jesus Christ, a person receives Gods free gift of love and life. Believing is simply trusting Gods Word. With our hearts we believe and with our mouths we confess that Jesus Christ is Gods Son who died for our sin on the cross and arose from the grave to live in us as Savior and Lord.

Questions before Salvation Prayer
