DEDICATION
This book is dedicated to every person who has the courage to be true to their heart.
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
This book could not have been written without the generous support of my family and friends who I thank with humility and a twinkle of Love.
I am especially grateful to and want to thank the women and men who worked with me and were willing to let go of diet dogma to use the intuitive tools to lose weight.
Sincere appreciation also goes to the many people who contributed their knowledge to the book and to those I interviewed who were open about eating hot buttons and their struggles with dieting. Thank you to the celebrity chefs for the delicious comfort food recipes and to Dr. Judy Kuriansky who suggested this be published. Without these people, I would not have a book.
And importantly, I would like to thank my cousin Linda and my brother Ralph Cohen who have been my heart through this process.

6th Sense Diet: Intuitive Eating
There is no use trying, said Alice;
one cant believe impossible things.
I dare say you havent had much practice, said the Queen. When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes Ive believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.
Lewis Carroll

50% of what we know is wrong. The problem is that we dont know which 50% it is. Timothy Noakes PhD
When it counts, people use their intuition. Just ask any policeman, doctor, fireman or member of the armed forces. They trust their intuition to know whats really happening. When it comes to intuition, everyone has it. Many people use their 6 senses to stay in touch with their body and stay slim. Our senses are the way of being in direct touch with our body and our world.
As you connect with your intuition it will be like slowly releasing a pressure valve from your eating routine. Youll feel different because youll look at eating differently. Your attitude towards your body will change.
Man your ships, and may the force be with you. Star Wars, George Lucas
Your ships are the 5 senses: taste, touch, seeing, hearing and smell.
The force is your 6th sense: intuition.
The 6th sense is also called intuition, gut feeling, common sense, survival instinct or that little voice. Intuition is an important part of the puzzle of who you are. It is a natural GPS, your personal coordinating and guidance system that will get you exactly where you want to be. As you tune into it, you learn about yourself. You realize your brain is not more important to you than your digestive system.
