As the Executive Director and CEO of Edgar Cayces Association for Research and Enlightenment, I have had the opportunity to meet a number of very talented professional intuitives who help individuals in a variety of ways by sharing their psychic talents. Carol Ann Liaros is one such individual. For decades her work has gained a tremendous reputation because of her ability to help individuals where they are at by giving them insights into every concern in life from health and well-being to relationship issues, from solving financial stress to finding (and living out) their missions in life. In addition to her talents as a psychic counselor and mentor, she is also an incredible teacher and excels at helping individuals to draw upon their own psychic birthright, which is a part of us all.
I have known Carol Ann for more than twenty-five yearsfirst as a professional psychic, conference speaker, and teacher, and later as personal friend and co-author of Edgar Cayce on Auras and Colors. She began her psychic work back in the 1960s, first by practicing on her friends, and later as a research subject working with the Human Dimensions Institute at Rosary Hill College. She became known for her accuracy and her conviction that everyone could be trained to use and experience his or her own psychic perception.
That conviction eventually led to the creation of Project Blind Awareness, which for many years was an innovative training program designed to enhance intuition in blind participants in order to help them become more mobile and independent. For years she also worked as a corporate educator and advisor to Fortune 500 businesses. Today Carol Ann remains just as convinced that people can be taught to work with and learn from their intuition in both their daily lives and their personal careers.
Carol Anns book is both a valuable resource and guide to assist any individual interested in experiencing his or her personal psychic abilities. In addition to learning what ESP is and why you should develop it, Carol Ann takes you through easy-to-follow exercises that will enable you to relax, set aside the worries of your conscious mind, and simply become aware of the psychic impressions that have been around you all the timeyou just may never have known how to look for them.
Whether its seeing auras, learning how to scan energies, sensing the impressions that come from objects and pictures, working with healing, or traveling to any location with the imagination of your mind, Carol Ann Liaros practical approaches to accessing personal intuition will be valuable to anyone (experienced or novice) interested in tapping into personal resources beyond the five senses.
In the end, what may make Carol Ann Liaros work most notable of all is that in a very real sense it will provide personal experiences with the fact that there is much more to us than a physical body.

Introduction
The exercises in this book are designed to help you explore the development of your own intuition through personal experience and practice. Each of us has psychic abilities that can be developed and put into practical use in everyday life. If youre skeptical or think that psychic ability is something possessed by only a few, then youre at the exact same place where I once found myself. In fact, at one time I couldnt imagine having a psychic experience, let alone being a psychic!
Many years ago, in the midst of some personal challenges and questions about my lifes direction, I went to see a psychic who had been recommended to me by a friend. Although I believed in the existence of intuition, I was certain that only a few individuals had access to psychic information. In spite of my friends optimism about the insights I would receive from this particular psychic, I found after his reading that I felt convinced the information he had given me was not applicable to my life and was total nonsense.
During the course of the reading, he told me that I had psychic abilities and that I would be using these skills to teach others. In fact, he went on to say that I would be doing extensive traveling and working with men in white coats, like doctors and scientists. He also stated that I would write a book about my experiences. I felt him inaccurate on every count. If this psychic had any legitimate abilities, I was certain that he had been having an off day.
After the reading, I left his office convinced that his words had no relevance for me. My skepticism was unshakable. However, my own cool reception about the psychics reading was in stark contrast to the enthusiasm of some of my friends who had received readings from the very same individual. In fact, they were convinced that his information might be correct, and if I truly had a psychic talent, they wanted to see if they could get readings from me.
Although the thought seemed absolutely ridiculous, they were persistent and clearly excited about the idea of my being a psychic. Reluctantly, I agreed to attempt some readings about my friends, their lives, and some of the questions they had been dealing with. To my surprise, every time I did a reading, it turned out to be extremely accurate. However, I was able to rationally explain how my readings were no more than logical extensions of the things I already knew about their lives. None of these readings involved any real psychic ability on my part. I was still convinced that psychic ability was something only a few individuals possessed and that I wasnt one of them.
One day a friend showed up at my door with a shopping bag filled with items she had collected from a number of other people. She wanted me to touch each item and give a reading on its ownerwhich would prove once and for all whether I was psychic. The bag contained rings, watches, hairbrushes, photographs, and many other items. Obediently, I took each item, one by one. As I held it, I attempted to concentrate on the person who was connected with the object. In my mind, I saw fleeting images and pictures. Sometimes I heard words and phrases. And, on occasion, I simply felt subtle physical sensations. At times, these impressions were no more than gut feelings or hunches; somehow I would know something about the individual without knowing exactly how I knew. Throughout this experience, my friend wrote down each impression I gave herthough I was still convinced that the whole thing was just my imagination.
