The day each of us came into this world we began a journey. Now, the journey is always a mixture of good and bad, sometimes very good and sometimes very bad. The twists and turns along the way often threaten to undo us. Sometimes they actually do.

But we have a resource in the sustaining riches of Gods grace that can help us not only survive these hard times but eventually thrivebecause He will bring us into a more intimate relationship with Himself than we would ever have had if everything in our lives had gone smoothly.

Walking with you on the journey is the purpose of this book. Ive invited two special women to walk with us. My daughter Bonnie Sala and my colleague and friend Luisa Reyes-Ampil have come to know the strength and the sweetness of Gods grace along their journeys. Bonnie never dreamed that her path would include betrayal, pain, and despair. Luisa made her way as a single mom starting over in a new culture, raising twin daughters to young adulthood. Together, as we have shared our THRIVE: Journey into Grace seminar around the world, we have seen women respond in relief to the realization that we all share the same struggles.

Our prayer is that these readings, these snippets of truth weve stumbled onto in quiet moments with Him, will encourage you to press into Him daily as you travel your own journey into grace.
