I f I had to choose one word to describe Matt Sapaula, it would be:

COACHABLE.

Throughout all his success, Matt has been the most coachable person Ive worked with. He doesn't just take cricism well; he demands to hear it.

He is eager to know his blind spots and weaknesses because he knows thats the only way to improve. He is hungry for knowledge and a sponge for information.

Matt also has strong values and principles. Not only do I trust him around my family and kids, but Ive gone out of my way for my family to spend time with his so they can see the example he sets. Though, in many ways, hes the stereotypical mans mana gym rat who loves sports and cigarshes also an amazing listener and a compassionate husband, father, and friend.

In addition to being coachable, Matt is also a phenomenal coach. The way he listens shows that he cares. Hes the guy whos constantly saying, I appreciate you. What makes that statement unique is that you can actually feel that he means it.

If you have that same level of coachabilityand its a very high standardyoure going to get a lot out of this book. Let me be clear: I am not saying anyone can be like Matt Sapaula. Hes a rare breed, and very few can match his work ethic.

What I am saying is that if youre as coachable as Matt, you have a very high chance of success. If you picked up this book, are open to learning, and are prepared to work, youre going to get a lot of answers. Day in and day out, Matt mentors and leads people without fancy degrees (or any degrees for that matter) and turns them into big earners who make their families proud.

His system works!

There are only a few leaders I know who can balance emotion and logic. Matt is one of them. This book does the same. It will inspire you because it will touch your heart while offering techniques to change your mindset. Matt put everything he has learned about both success and failure over the past thirty years into this book. He served eight years on the front lines in Somalia, Africa, and the Persian Gulf as a decorated member of the United States Marine Corps. Like many veterans, it was a rough transition to go back to civilian life. Just when he thought he had turned the corner by getting married and having a child, he hit another low. Adversity tested his faith. When he turned away from it, he made bad choices, and things got worse. When he turned back towards it, he became the powerful, humble, and wealthy man you see today.

It makes perfect sense that Matt and I met because of our faith. We were introduced by Pastor Dudley Rutherford, the Senior Pastor of Shepherd Church in Southern California. On the surface, Matt looked like a stud. He was charismatic, ripped, charming, and yet still humble and approachable. The mystery was figuring out why he struggled so much financially. On paper, he had all the traits to be a millionaire, but he was barely making ends meet.

Im happy that he wrote this book because you may be in a similar place as Matt was when I met him. You know you have potential, and you just cant seem to figure out whats holding you back. Ive been there, and Matts been there. The lesson to take from Matt is that if youre coachable, have faith, and put in the work, success will follow. Its that simple. I didnt say easy. I said simple.

Because Matt is so coachable, hes a master at re-creating himself. Wherever you are in life, you can become whatever you want. Matt has done it multiple times. From the moment he came to the company, growth took off at rates weve never seen before. Hell be the last to tell you how quickly he had his first million-dollar year and how hell do five times that soon. Yet, with every zero he adds to his net worth, he has stayed humble.
