Dedication

A Fairy Treasury The Ultimate Guide to the Enchanted Fairy Realm - image 3

Alicen:

I dedicate this book to
someone who knows all about the faeries,
HRH The Faerie Queene Rose Petal (Aimee Butler)
and The Fairy Box childrens charity.

Jacky:

I dedicate this book to the kindest woman
who ever walked this earth,
my lovely Mum,
and to dearest Dad
who is clearly the biggest fan
a girl could ever wish to have!

Faerie Blessings

From Alicen:

There are so many people to thank for making this book possible as it would not have happened without them

Lots of love and appreciation to Jacky Newcomb for being my very supportive co-author and friend.

Thank you to Llewellyn for suggesting the book in the first place and shoving me in the right direction!

Special mentions to Be and Drew and family at I Do Believe for all their magic, which they are always sending in my direction. Love and faerie wishes to Aimee and the Butler family who have given me so much inspiration while writing this book.

All good wishes and thanks to Michelle Pilley and everyone at the Hay House UK office for their continuing support of my faerie work.

To all those of the faerie community worldwide and the loyal readers of Faeriecraft who have been so encouraging to me while writing this book. A big thank-you also to all those faerie-blessed people who have sent in their fey experiences to contribute to the book.

Thanks to all my friends, family and neighbours who put up with me being a recluse while writing this book now I can come out of the woodwork!

Merlyn and Epona and their team at The Children of Artemis, thanks for your help over the many years you have continued to believe in me.

Blessed Be to Queen Mab and the faeries for inspiration, love and guidance.

From Jacky:

To Alicen Geddes-Ward, without whom there would be no Faerie Treasury. I have learned so much more about the faerie realm you are a wonderful co-author.

Llewellyn for bringing Alicen and me together in the first place. To Juliana and Holly for believing in faeries too.

To my husband John, who cooks my tea and brings me regular refreshments whilst I work and most of all to my children who listen to my moans and groans and usually end up cooking for themselves

Thank you to everyone at Hay House for taking a chance on A Faerie Treasury and now the real work begins.

But most of all I want to thank all the people who have shared their amazing stories of faerie intervention in their own lives. Belief in the magic of the unseen worlds is hard for many but your stories bring the faerie realms alive to those who have yet to experience them.

From both of us

A big thank-you to Neil Geddes-Ward for researching and compiling the Faerie Resources Directory at the back of this book.

We believe in faeries!

Alicen and Jacky have never met at least not on the earth plane. I know that sounds strange, but in this day of emails and the Internet, it really is possible to write a book with someone over long distances

Jacky first heard of the work of Alicen and her husband Neil, the pagan and visionary artist, when Neil and Alicen came to her local town of Burton upon Trent (where Jacky lived at that time). Neil was giving a talk about his artwork and the faerie realms. Jacky was very attracted to a greetings card in a local shop and it contained artwork which Neil had painted a woman holding an owl. The owner of the shop had been the one to then tell her about their visit. Sadly, Jacky missed the talk but felt that there was a connection and that their paths would cross again. She was right

Years later, Jacky was writing an article for a magazine about faeries and came across Alicens name during an Internet search. Alicen was good enough to give Jacky an interview over the telephone, and she was featured in the article their spiritual paths had crossed again but they still hadnt met!

In the meantime, Jacky had begun writing about angels and was searching for stories for a book one day when she once again came across Neil and Alicens website. Neil had a wonderful afterlife communication story which Jacky was thrilled to include in one of her books their spiritual paths had crossed yet again, but they still hadnt met.

Jacky was keen to produce her own angel meditations and approached her favourite composer and musician, Llewellyn. Llewellyn and Jacky worked on several angel CDs together, including some meditation CDs.

When Llewellyn and his singer wife Juliana launched their charity Earth Angel, Jacky and her husband John were invited to attend. It was at this point that Jacky discovered that Alicen and her husband Neil were friends of Llewellyn and Juliana, and that they had both been invited. Would they meet at last? Unfortunately, Alicen was unable to attend the launch party but Jacky and her husband John did finally get to meet Neil!
