Spell Singer
Tell it to the moon in the darkest hour,
Tell it to the starlight, tell it to the starlight.
Sing to the Goddess and feel your power,
You can make your dreams come true.
Tell it to the sun in the daylight hours;
Tell it to the sunlight, tell it to the sunlight.
Sing of the Earth and feel Her power,
Sing of the skies so blue.
Dance in the fall of a summer shower,
Tell it to the rain drops, tell it to the rain drops.
Call on the Old Gods and feel their power,
Feel the power deep in you.
Sing to the clouds and sing to the flowers;
Tell it to the treetops, tell it to the treetops.
Welcome the rebirth of pagan power.
Come and join the circle too.
Dance in the dark of the witching hour.
Tell it to the moonbeams, sing a song of your dreams;
Dance round the blaze of the witchs fire.
Free the magick inside you!

Of witches and faeries
Faerie magick is for all people of all ages. It is a simple form of magick and so is perfect for beginners and those new to witchcraft and spellcasting, yet because it is so effective, faerie power is often used by adept magickal practitioners too. Anyone with a genuine interest in magick and faeries can work effective faerie spells and can begin to create the kind of life they truly want and deserve.
Witches and faeries are inextricably linked. Both are found in folklore and faerie tale throughout the various cultures of the globe. Most myths and legends hold within them a kernel of truth, and faerie stories are no exception to this rule. Beneath the surface of the bedtime stories of childhood there is the underlying magickal truth of a natural power just waiting to be tapped into and used. Storybook witches actually have their roots in the old village wise women and pagan priestesses of the past. These were the women who made healing potions, divined the future, cast love spells and performed fertility rites. Over time, the power of the wise woman was ridiculed, and her popular image in folklore became that of the wicked witch.
A similar thing occurred with faeries, which are today widely considered to be pretty, harmless creatures invented to delight little girls. However, the origins of the modern picture book faerie lie in the elemental spirits and the vast power of natures life force. Todays magickal practitioners still use this life force in their spells and rituals, just as the priestesses and wise women of the past did. The practice of drawing upon these natural energies is known as faerie magick or elemental magick.
The changing face of witchcraft
The face of witchcraft is well and truly changing. The stereotypical old hag is slowly being replaced by the more popular image of the witch as a young, feisty, sexy and independent female. This pretty witch is just as strong and just as powerful as her predecessor, yet she is somehow more socially acceptable!
She teaches that witches can be smart, beautiful, cool, hip and trendy; that they can be career-minded, go-getting individuals and high achievers; that they are often clever, witty, and intelligent; and that, ultimately, there are no limits to female power.
This enchanting witch babe is appealing to a whole new generation of magickal practitioners and wannabe witches. Women of all ages, from pre-teens to senior citizens, are discovering for themselves the positive message of female empowerment that witchcraft teaches. All of a sudden its cool to be Crafty!
