The narrative of God and faith for the vast majority of people on this earth has been written, unfortunately, by weak men. With this book I hope to change that narrative.
When humans first started to think about God times were very tough, life was a bitter struggle and naturally people hoped and prayed for a super being to help them, comfort them. The dominant religions of today reflected that attitude, made God in the image of the most powerful man of those days, the king or emperor. This super being is our savior, will save us from having to face a tough, difficult life. If we pray hard, this super being will give us the easy life that we ask for.
That has been the narrative of the past and sadly, still remains the narrative of the present. It is time for a paradigm changetime for the strong to write a new narrative about faith and God. Time to stop asking God for this and that and start sayingWhat can I do for God? Time to stop being selfish, hoping to run away to a nice easy life and to grow up, face life head-on. Imagine thatGod would be in for a shocksomeone actually wants to help me? Instead of constantly demanding gimme this, gimme that, keep us in comfort? Someone wants to be a giver and not a taker?
It is amazing to me that Hindus of so long ago discovered this strengthit is their ideas that I put before you. These are not my ideas but the ideas of Sanatana Dharma (popularly called Hinduism). These people saw the weakness, the cowardice, the laziness taking over, people giving in to fantasy, eager to believe in charlatans, who made up delightful stories of magic lands awaiting them after death. They came up with the idea of Reincarnationthe idea that once you die, you do not get to run away but you must come back, back to the same life that you had before, basically telling them that you must face life head-on and not seek to live in fantasy avatar lands; yes, Heaven was the fantasy land before computers were invented.
Naturally the latter idea doesnt get converts, doesnt get followers hence some of the major religions of today have dropped that idea. They found greater success with magical stories of fantasy lands of endless milk and honeyno more pain or suffering, endless joy and happinessquite frankly, the very first Ponzi scheme (obviously wouldnt be called after Mr. Ponzi then, his schemes would be called Heaven schemes).
Lets face it, we ALL want to live the good lifethe choice isdo you want to go away and be given the good life (Heaven) OR do you want to make good things happen through sheer hard work, sacrifice and making good decisions (Reincarnation)?
Do you think that the prosperous nations of today were handed their riches or did they get there by sheer hard work, sacrifice and good decisions? How about the well-off? Did they work hard to get where they are today?
When trouble strikes, when a flood is about to hit your village, a coward who implores everyone to run away might get more to hear and follow him than a Hero who asks us to stand tall and true and fight. That is, in a nutshell, what this book is all about. With this book I give thanks to my first Teachersmy mother and this great faith.
You know what other religions offer. They constantly preach this: no more pain or suffering, joy and happiness for eternity. The Buddha went looking for a way out of pain and suffering. If we have to have a slogan for Hinduism, let it be this: We Offer Pain, We Offer Suffering, We Offer Life! For pain and suffering come along with life, they cannot be separated from itto live is to face pain and suffering. To wish for a life without pain and suffering is to invite death.
Most religions reel in converts with the promise of an easy life, I find it funny when the followers claim to love God but what they really love and are after is the easy life that this sugar daddy will give them. Look what OUR God will do for you is the slogan of most religions. Sanatana Dharma (Hinduism) askswhat can you do for God? This book and the teachings of Hinduism will resonate with those who want to give back to society, to this world. Those who strive for a better world must realize that one life is not enough, there is still work yet to be done and God needs you down here.
God deserves better; let me say it again, God deserves better than be seen as nothing more than a sugar daddy or just a meal-ticket, who has nothing better to do than keep billions in easy comfort, free-loaders who want nothing to do with real life or make a honest living, but want to laze on the couch for eternity at His expense. Our ancestors, who faced a much harsher world, can be excused for hoping for an easy afterlife, but the hold of sugar daddy God religions in the modern world is disappointing.
There is a reason why this e-book is available for a low pricethe reason is that I want the ideas in this book to spread, it is not about making money. Yes, money is important and can certainly help, but by keeping the purchase price low, I can reach more peopleit is my strong belief that the popular view of God must changefrom a weak mans point of view of God as a master, a sugar daddy, to a strong persons view of God as a Teacher, our Parent. We cant keep living in the past, clinging to old medieval ideas of God, we have to move forward into the future.
Read this book from the viewpoint of a taker, one who hopes to get to the easy life of heaven, and I think you will hate it.
Read this book from the viewpoint of a giver, and you just might like it.
Once you think deeply about the ideas of Reincarnation and Karma, you will come to realize that there is intelligence here, wisdom herewe are not just giving you a sugar pillpray to X God and He will give you the good lifethats basically it for some other religionsfrankly, we need to have higher aspirations.
There are a few quotes in this book that I am quite proud of, let me know what you think of them and of this book. I can be reached at KarmaReincarnation@google.com.

A good unbeliever is closer to God Rama than even a good Hindu
Faith is for all; religion is for the few
Pain, suffering, life, God;
No pain, no suffering, death, no God
No Hell in Hinduism. Period.
Why choose to be utterly useless, when you can be a God?
A second chance to set things right (Reincarnation) beats being forgiven every time!
Heaven=pleasures of the flesh; Moksha=pleasures of the mind, heart and soul
Death (Heaven) OR life, REAL life (Reincarnation)?
God deserves better
KARMA and REINCARNATION
What is Karma? Why is it linked to Reincarnation? We all know what Reincarnation isbeing reborn in another body, starting over in a new life.
The meaning of the word Karma, which is a Sanskrit word, is Action or Work. Thats it! Its not a spiritual payback system, as it is popularly understood in the West. So, when Hindus say they are judged (wrong word to use in Hinduisma Parent does not judge their children, but the paucity of the English language forces me to use this word) by their Karma, it means we are defined based on what we accomplished in life, our actions, our character, our conduct, our moralsreligion does not matter, belief does not matter.
