Dedication
To Jan Harrison, my first Bible teacher and the first person who modeled what it means to truly have a passionate love for Gods Word. How incredibly thankful I am for the blessing to have sat at your feet and learned from you. Your love for Jesus and His Word is fiercely contagious, and Im only one of many who have caught the fever! Thank you for the love, time, and prayer you have invested in me and, in turn, my family and my ministry. I love you and am forever grateful.

Welcome to Living So That: Making Faith-Filled Choices in the Midst of a Messy Life. I am excited you have chosen to take this journey with me! As I wrote each page, I prayed for every woman God would lead to join in our adventure. Begin confident, sweet friend, that you will meet God in the pages of His Word and this book. He promises us in Isaiah 55:11 that when His Word goes out, it will not return empty. God will reveal Himself with every turn of the page. You will learn new truths about God, His character, His purposes for you, and most especially, His incredible love for you.
You can do Living So That individually or with a small group. I encourage a small group setting because it allows for accountability and rich discussions with other women about what you have learned.
You will notice that several different translations are used in this study, mainly The Voice and the New International Version (1984). If you dont own either of these translations, you will still be able to work through the lessons. In fact, using several versions while you study Gods Word will only enhance your understanding. Living So That takes you through five chapters of so that scriptures in the New Testament. Each chapter begins with a Memory Verse and a Prayer. I encourage you to pray the prayer as you open your Bible to study. Remember, the Holy Spirit is your teacher, so praying prepares your heart to receive all that God has for you. And please dont let the memory verses intimidate you. I give you lots of encouragement in chapter 1 about memorizing scripture.
