T he first time I met James Goll, he looked at me with his piercing eyes and asked a probing question: Lee, do you have enough people praying for you?

We were driving through the streets of downtown Atlanta together, headed to a banquet for authors and publishers. But when Jim posed this odd question, I quickly lost track of time and place. It seemed as if he were looking past the moving scenery and into an invisible, eternal realm. I knew he could see something I couldnt.

Why do you say that? I asked, knowing that I have always felt awkward asking people to pray for me on a regular basis.
