The best advice to sceptics and curious folk is to look within, find your basic instincts and to trust them when they tell you that something you may not have believed before is true. Expect a revelation!
We have to be vigilant, to keep our senses, mind and heart open.
Don't be scared to speak out. Organised religions, along with the establishments based upon them, have spent thousands of years suppressing our natural instincts and establishing a norm that tries to banish credibility in anything other than what they want us to believe. They have been forced to incorporate Angels into their teachings and shape them into servants of their regimes, since the evidence for their existence is absolutely overwhelming and they would have lost credibility had they not done so.
May this magical book free the Angels from their bondage of religious dogma.
I think it was Heraclitus who said: the Daimon is our destiny. When I think of life as a struggle with the Daimon who would ever set us to the hardest work among those not impossible, I understand why there is a deep enmity between a man and his destiny, and why a man loves nothing but his destiny I am persuaded that the Daimon delivers and deceives us, and that he wove the netting from the stars and threw the net from his shoulder

I thought that I had had sufficient experiences of my own involving angelic energies to be able to speak with some authority on the subject, and to pinpoint the right stories to use when researching the many anecdotes that came my way whilst researching this book. You can tell when something rings true.
Nevertheless, when I began putting this book together I was given a warning by someone with far more experience in these matters. I was told that, once I started to investigate the angelic realms very seriously, once I started to consciously offer myself up to their influences, then things would start to change and shift. I was told that these changes and shifts were necessary evidence of Angels manifesting their presence in my life. The journey which had brought me to the position of being able to write this book was also a part of a greater influence, and all moments converge to create the moment that were living in.
I took this advice seriously purely because of the credibility of the person that gave it to me, and so I made a conscious effort to open the doors of my own perception. Dramatic events ensued, so much so that the final lines of this book were written from a hospital bed!
Hospitals are charged, edgy places. All human endeavour is focused in a place like this. Life and death; overwhelming joy and deep pain; huge happiness, overwhelming sadness, the struggle to come to terms with mortality. In the nights I have spent here unable to sleep I have travelled in my mind to the places where my body couldnt take me, floated through the hospital corridors with its ghosts of the living, the dead and the dying, and actually had the encounters with the angels that I had asked for, and with the very welcome demons that came along as well.
I can see now that the proximity of these angels was what made the demons draw closer, too. Demons that I had suppressed for pretty much all of my life came to the fore, and catalysed more changes. And yet whats interesting for me to observe is that the angels in my life now seem to be working in symbiosis with those demons in order to effect some kind of integration, and this process is not happening in isolation. Every single person in the entire world is involved, especially you, reading this. Its a shock sometimes to realise that any process that you or I choose to undergo is never about the individual, but about everyone, even though one individual might have triggered it by asking for something, some experience, some evidence of something extraordinary. Its true that one person can change the world.
Be careful what you ask for, because angels can be stern masters. They will challenge you, play pig-in-the-middle with your ego, relentlessly hack away at your preconceived ideas, ask you to think, and think again, and then stop thinking altogether; they will briskly strip your psyche apart like so many bits of an engine, and, if you allow them to and can bear the pain, they will rebuild you, better, bigger and brighter than before.
We tend to turn to angels for guidance during the dark times of our lives. Maybe this is why you are holding this book. Its as well to remember, though, that throughout all the darkness, its vital to realise we need to have faith not only in the future, but in the present, that everything is as it is meant to be and that hard times are only difficult if we choose to see them as such. And those demons, if we try to suppress or bury them, get angry and pursue us sometimes even down the generations.
If we are to work with angels and I will put forward here and now the idea that they are working with us, all the time, whether we acknowledge it or not then it is essential that we embrace those demons, too, since they are just as important.
Throughout this book, I will ask you to think again about the way in which we perceive demons. Its no accident that in ancient literatures, demons and angels are often mistaken for one another, and often share names and attributes. Its no accident, either, that all the skills that we attribute to witchcraft or the dark arts such as healing, prophecy, prediction were legendarily taught to humankind (specifically to women) by certain angels.
A Profound Difference
What separates human beings from other animals is that we have freedom of choice. Although we have pheromones and emotional charges and powerful reactions, we do not need to eat as much as can find as soon as we find it, or mate in the street haphazardly like dogs with bitches on heat. If ever anyone tells you that they didnt have a choice, then beware, for youre hearing a lie. When we say we have no choice, its an absolution of responsibility and a denial of our own power. We always have choice.
As weve seen, we can choose also how we view things and therefore alter our experience of them. Demons can be the things that make bad things happen; its within our gift to make these things good.
Thought forms are very powerful. Later on in this book is the description of a demonic thought form that was created entirely by human beings. These evil thought forms can become real enough, and their influence, if not recognised, can cast a long shadow down the generations. Child abuse is a good example. How can it be possible to find the gift within such a horrendous act or experience?
