As we dive into the Fathers heart we are overwhelmed by His presence, the fullness of joy. From this place we begin to see from His perspective. As we see and understand His world we are compelled to intercede. We are now praying and speaking with fresh insight.

We see that we no longer have to pray from a place of defense. Instead, we pray offensive prayers from His presence. When we speak our petitions and most importantly our declarations into the atmosphere, authority and breakthrough come. From the intimate place with our Father, everything is birthed.

Joy means a feeling of great happiness or pleasure, especially of an elevated or spiritual kind. There are other words that associate with the word joy: delight, happiness, pleasure, bliss, ecstasy, elation, and thrill. The word ecstasy means a feeling of intense delight. The word bliss means perfect untroubled happiness.

The word joy is in the Bible 182 times. I have picked out several references on joy for you to read. I feel that it is important to include these verses in this book. They are reminders to us of the importance of being a joyful people, of being who we were created to be.
