You hold in your hands the most powerful book in the world. It is Gods game plan for your life, and it is everything you need as a competitor. Spending time reading the Bible has transformed my life, and the same life-change can happen to you!

FCAs theme is RISE and the theme verse is Joshua 1:9: This is my commandbe strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Every competitor faces a moment in his or her career when they must rise up. Rise up to the challenge. Rise up and take your place on the field. Rise up when youve been knocked down or defeated. Rise up together as a team. It takes strength, courage, and commitment to rise up, give your all, and make the moment count.

Yet, you dont have to stand alone. Our God promises to be with us. Jesus Christ will give you the strength and courage to carry your faith into your sport and make a difference for Him. You just have to trust and follow your Coach, Jesus Christ. You can do it. God is with you. RISE!

Its time we really dig into Gods Word and learn how to live like a champion for the Lord. Study hard and rise up to the challenge of living for Jesus Christ!

After choosing a topic in the first eight categories, all you have to do is decide which Workout to use. On pages 2931 you will find 150 Favorite Bible Study Stories. On page 32 there are 37 Bonus Bible Studies. Altogether there are nearly 25,000 possible combinations of small-group studies to help build community in your group and develop you as a passionate Christ-follower.

Are there any studies beyond those found in the Study Plans?

Yes. You can use the index of 150 favorite Bible stories on pages 2931 to create your own meeting. On page 32, you can choose other specific topics from the bonus Bible studies not covered in the topical charts. (Examples: stories about David, the miracles or parables of Jesus, and Jesus last week)
