The Book of Mormon~ Colorfully Illustrated
This is truly a Wonderful book. This is an -All New- recreation, based on Joseph Smiths original work. This book was written for Our times Today! Everyone on earth is invited to download this no cost eBook.
This book will speak to you from out of the dust of the distant past, with its unique charm, the way it did to my great, great, great grandfather Parley P. Pratt.
This is a religious based historical account of ancient civilizations in the Americas. Todays Native Americans are their descendants, and are of the house of Israel. Native Americans and our friends of the Jewish faith are especially invited to download this no cost ebook.
You will find in these pages the full spectrum of human emotion, along with a good deal of Action & Adventure, and the collected Wisdom of ancient civilizations that once existed here. All produced for you in young Joseph Smiths simple country boy style of English. I personally find his simple English quite charming.
This no cost volume has been transcribed painstakingly word for word in exacting detail, as best as humanly possible, from a first printing reproduction of young Joseph Smiths original words. Thousands of antique printing press typesetting errors have been removed.
Yes, all of young Josephs original words are here, along with an incredible collection of fine art, maps, graphic designs and photos. Plus references and helpful links. This has taken me three and one half months to compile and transcribe, plus another month of picture editing. It has been a tremendous and yet rewarding labor of Love. I hope all people on earth today will enjoy; The Book of Mormon~ Colorfully Illustrated
Compiled by Steve Nelson

*An important PS to this story. These are the simple words of a Country Boy. Today's modern Corporate church out of SLC does Not want You to read these words! I've even been told that this book is not welcome in todays church. I believe that Today's Corporate church in SLC is embarrassed by these simple words. I for one am Not embarrassed to read these Original words! These are not the words of a highly educated PhD. As a reader I suggest that you take this fully into account as you enjoy this wonderful story. As I have said, my Great, great, great Grandfather P. P. Pratt, a traveling preacher, was impressed and charmed by the language and courage of this simple Country Boy and his book. I hope you are too!

A brief prolog by the compiling author

Dear Reader,

I want to make this intro as simple as Ipossibly can. This book; The Book of Mormon, is a truly Wonderfulbook. I know, I have read it more than six times. I have at notime, been paid by anybody, to re-type and publish this work in itsOriginal form with my added improvements. Now, just imagine for amoment if you will, a young country boy with little formaleducation, writing such a massive book, in about three months time. Then imagine if you will that he actually translated this entirevolume from a long dead and forgotten language!

Well now, for this newest read, I want tomake a special study project out of it. I will be going throughthis entire volume and re-typing every word exactly as young JosephSmith wrote it for the first published edition. I want to get intohis mind as I re-type his every word. I will in effect beattempting to put the Real Joseph Smith back into the Book ofMormon. Also I will be inserting some colorful fine art throughoutto help accent the story. If it looks good when I get through, Iwill publish the whole shabang on Smashwords.com as a FREE ebookfor all.

Incidentally this first edition of, The Bookof Mormon, is the same story version, that my great, great, great, great grandfather Parley P. Pratt saw and read, way over 100years ago. (Minus the pictures)

How Rare a Possession TheBook of Mormon - photo 2

How Rare a Possession: TheBook of Mormon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EIhAsifEMFs

This unique book with Joseph Smiths simplespelling and country boy sentence structure has a unique charm allits own. My grandfather must have thought so too, because he soughtout this Joseph Smith, and soon signed up my whole family for thechurch way back then.

Now I also want to say, that over time therehave been many upheavals on planet earth. Many right here in theAmericas. In fact several times, the whole face of the land hasbeen changed. So now, a lot of well meaning folks today are runningaround trying to affix current ruins & places to events asdepicted in, The Book of Mormon. This is not whats important aboutthe book. Its the stories of truth and wisdom found here in thesepages, thats what is really important. Not the where it allhappened approach. But just for your interest, along with the fineart that I will include with this volume, I will include also some,Possible, ruin sites with the story. There is nothing definitemind you. I just find the possibilities, interesting.

At the end of this work I will list the names& websites of every artist that I can find, as much aspossible. I will also list websites for your further study &interest if you are game for it. If I cant find out, who done itfor a picture, well, I guess well never know but their fine workwill still get seen.

Now before we get into the book itself, Iwant to set your mind at ease on one thing. You dont have to jointhe Latter-Day Saint church, in Salt Lake City, just for readingthis book. If you want to investigate further and take such anaction, and I recommend that you do, that my friend is entirely upto you.

Now heres the low down on the story:

The Book of Mormon takes its name fromGeneral Mormon. The General of a Hundred Battles, as mygrandfather put it. Mormon was the Commanding General of an Army inthe Americas; about 311 A.D. to 385 A.D. He was the compiler of therecords of his peoples history. He abridged the story of hispeople from many sources down into one volume, known to us todayas; the Book of Mormon.

The Book of Mormon, in many respects, is athrilling Action & Adventure story, interspaced with tons ofhard work & faith building experiences. In it you can findthings such as military conflicts, strategy, leaders & heroes, faith & love, greed, betrayal, and incredible brute savageryalmost beyond belief! Yes the full spectrum of human activity &emotion are here in these pages.

There is a lot of character building wisdomin these pages. The Book of Mormon can also be considered a kindof, Religious History, as it is a saga encompassing a one thousandyear time span in the lives of the ancient peoples of the Americas. One of the major claims of, The Book of Mormon is; that it istrue.

There were few standard American Englishdictionaries available in Josephs day, so every word is spelledexactly the way Joseph Smith spelled it. At no time have I justdownloaded this text from off some site. The pictures are allcompiled by me and the text is painstakingly re-typed, word forword by me, to the very best of my meager two finger typingability. Also my eyesight these days is pretty poor so I hope allthe pictures come out nice. If some are fuzzy please forgive me.All pictures used in this Free ebook, from great artists of thepast, are of Public Domain origin. And Nobody has a Copyright onGod.

With this project, I want to honor Mr. JosephSmith, my Grandfather Parley, and all those who worked so hard inpretty tough times, to bring this book to light, and gave to myfamily and to the world such a rich understanding of the ancientpeoples in the Americas, and the dealings of a God, or Gods, withthem. It is my sincere hope to discover such a God for myself. Ihope thats plain enough for everyone.

And as Columbo always said in the movies,Just one more thing; I especially want to invite all those folksout there in reader land, of the Jewish flavor of religion, andthose of the, Native American Indian; to take special note of thisbook. Because these people in this Book, are speaking from out ofthe ground and the dust, unto, YOU!

Happy reading,

Steve Nelson
