How to Use This Book
W ELCOME TO VOLUME one of The Demon Dictionary, your essential resource for understanding the terms, names, people, and places that relate to demons, occult activity, and cultic culture.
Rather than compiling one long A to Z list, Kimberly Daniels has organized The Demon Dictionary into topical chapters to help you better understand what type of demonic spirit you are researching. Within each chapter you will find an alphabetical listing of terminology and corresponding explanations.
Begin your study by referring to the table of contents to narrow your search by category, and then turn to the appropriate chapter to look up a specific term and discover its definition.
Whether your experience and understanding of how to deal with demons is at the beginning stages or a more advanced level, prepare to be surprised by the content of this book. We believe it contains information that has never been published before. We hope that this comprehensive, must-have reference guide becomes a powerful tool in your arsenal to expose and defeat the works of darkness.

PRELUDE:
Walking Circumspectly and Not as Fools
Walking Circumspectly and
Not as Fools
W E CANNOT DENY that we have to deal with evil in life. There are two roads of life in the spirit. John 10:10 describes these roads:
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
1. On one road the devil comes to steal, kill, and destroy.
2. On the other road Jesus came to give us life. This word life is zoe, and it means, the God kind of life or abundant life.
Third John 23 (KJV) is the foundational scripture for this truth. It says:
Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth.
Notice in both of the passages listed above there is great potential. In other words, abundant life and prosperity for believers are not necessarily automatic. They are not laid out on a silver platter for us. This is why faith without works is dead.
We have heard numerous sermons on gaining the world and losing your soul. I would like to expound a little more on this passage of Scripture in 3 John 23. The key word is prospereth. Notice that just as John 10:10 warns that believers may have life, this passage says we may prosper. Abundant life and prosperity will not fall out of the sky and hit us on the head just because we repeat the sinners prayer.
The Greek word for prospereth, which is euodoo, means, to get help on the road, to succeed in business affairs and to have a prosperous journey. In other words, God knows that while we are walking by faith it will not be easy, and euodoos promises us help on the way. Glory to God! This is the help that we need because we are not perfect, and we will make mistakes in life. This is when the goodness and mercy following us down the road comes into play. I call it the blessed road of the promise.
The word euodoo can be broken down into two parts:
1. Eu (Strongs #2095)To be good or well done
2. Hodos (Strongs #3598)To be on a road of progress or on track or en route on a prosperous journey, natural path, or course of conduct
To sum it up, even if you are having some challenges in life, prosperity will be your friend if you are on the right roadthe road to the promise. This path will be natural to you with no struggle and will demand a lifestyle or course of conduct that will please God. Also, when all is said and done, you will have gained not only the wealth and riches of the world, but also eternal blessedness that will allow you to stand before God in the end and hear, Well done, My faithful servant! You will not gain the world but lose your soul.
Be encouraged if you have messed up; as long as you fess up, you will be blessed up. There is no condemnation for those who are in Jesus. As long as we stay on the right road in life, and fear provoking the destiny angel that goes before us, we will prosper!
In the meantime we must have a good working knowledge of the fact that good and evil do exist. In the occult world the name for good and evil is yin yang, and it is based on the principle that both realms really exist. To believe that there are only angels is a false doctrine, and to focus only on demons is a dangerous obsession. God is the Creator of all! It is a principle that is hard for many to come to grips with, but God created the devil. The devil is a created being; God is the Creator of everything that exists. No matter how much evil is in the world, the power of God is greater. No matter what things look like in the world we live in today, God is in charge, and He has the last word. He is the Alpha and the Omega.
Peter sums it up:
Be well balanced (temperate, sober of mind), be vigilant and cautious at all times; for that enemy of yours, the devil, roams around like a lion roaring [in fierce hunger], seeking someone to seize upon and devour. Withstand him; be firm in faith [against his onsetrooted, established, strong, immovable, and determined], knowing that the same (identical) sufferings are appointed to your brotherhood (the whole body of Christians) throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the dominion (power, authority, rule) forever and ever. Amen (so be it).
