SEXUAL PURITY: THE FINALFRONTIER

FAR, FAR away in a land Ok, not really.But sometimes the subject of sexual purity seems like it can onlybe experienced in a world in another galaxy somewhere! Depending onthe environments you find yourself in, you may not even recognizethat term. Or furthermore, what purity even means.

Purity is actually quite simple tounderstand if you know the idea or origin of purity. Purity wasactually Gods design from the very beginning of time from Adamand Eve to the 10 Commandments, and from the story of Ruth all theway to the days that Jesus walked on this very Earth! God haslonged for His children, young and old, to remember puritythroughout life. I will admit that, while its simplistic in itsnature and origin, its not exactly regarded as easy to grasp.You see, plenty of other messages dont really regard purityatall.

Many of us females, young and old, somewherealong the way have bought into the story that sexual purity isimpossible. No one expects a girl to stay pure until marriage!All the guys want a sexy girl. He must love me if he wants tosleep with me. Lies like these have influenced many women fromyouth and have affected how they view and feel about themselveseven into adulthood. Often this drives girls to think theyre notpretty enough or that they have to do certain things to getattention from boys. Therefore, they begin belittling who God hascalled them to be and settling for what seems like acceptablebehavior. Some of this behavior may include, but is not limited to,dressing provocatively, flirting with boys to gain fulfillment ofbeing accepted, and being so emotionally needy that boundaries andstandards in general vanish from their lives to get what they feeltheyre missing.

The real problem with not understandingpurity is that it tends to lead to a domino effect of decisions ofchoosing lesser or inferior options throughout every area of life.When God designed you, He designed you to be fulfilled by beingclose to Him. He designed you to operate at your greatest abilitythrough following His great and fabulous plan for you. The only wayto completely and totally be full of joy and fulfilled throughoutyour life is tied to how well you understand your Creator and Hislove for you.

That is why much of this book will not justbe about abstaining from sex until you are married to that specialguy. It will include that message, but some crucial things have tobe approached before one can even begin to understand the whybehind sexual purity.

Before you can truly be successful atachieving purity throughout your adolescent years (and really,throughout life), you need to be able to correctly answer these twoquestions:

1. What is Gods design of purity?

2. Why should I care about purity?

By the end of this book, you should be ableto answer both questions and be a part of the revolution of younggirls choosing to take on Gods standard of life over anyoneelses.

Sexual purity IS achievable. It ISabsolutely possible and shouldnt be thought of as some unreachableconcept. Are you ready to experience above and beyond whatunfortunately many young girls never get to? Are you ready to drawa line in the rest of eternity and begin the most amazing journeyyou were meant to live? If your answer is YES, Id like tocongratulate you! Youre on your way to a mind-blowingtransformation!

Have you ever watched anyone decorate awedding cake? Im amazed at how much detail goes into the designingand decorating of wedding cakes these days! Its tough for me tojust write Happy Birthday on a cake in icing while people payhundreds, sometimes thousands, of dollars for the cake-decoratingextraordinaire to do incredible things with icing and fondant. Theyare just so gorgeous! Wouldnt it be nice for the baker if all hehad to do was to decorate a cake well?

When a bride is choosing a wedding cake, notonly does she examine the perfect design and dcor, but she alsotastes it. If shes going to pay hundreds and hundreds of dollarsfor a wedding cake, she wants to be sure it also TASTES good toshare with all her friends and family celebrating the occasion. Ifit doesnt taste good, the cake is really a waste and has defeatedits purpose altogether.

A cakes first purpose is to be EATEN.Thats the heart of the purpose of making a cake, to eat it. Theouter decoration has nothing to do with how good the actual caketastes. But if the baker is mindful to create a tasty cake usinggood ingredients, the cake will fulfill its primary purpose andintent of its creation. The outer beauty is just an added bonus,but not necessarily important to fulfill the heart of its purpose.I for one know how disappointing it is to bite into a gorgeous cakeand find it lacking in flavor and consistency. Most likely I wonteat it all and want to throw it away.

The problem I see in todays young girls isthat theyre concentrating so hard on making sure their outerselves are accepted that they neglect the most important part ofthemselvestheir heart. They base their importance on the outsiderather than the deeper element of what truly makes her valuable.Just as it takes good quality ingredients to make a delicious caketo be enjoyed by all, a young lady should concentrate on acquiringgood qualities that allow her to be and do all that her creatorcreated her to be and do. You can be sure that shell be describedas attractive and beautiful as well! But it may not be because ofthe clothes she wears or how much makeup she wears. Itll bebecause she possesses so many beautiful qualities that make hergorgeous from the insideout.
