Psalms 19:2-3
Since my entry into the world of mysticism, I have been interested in astrology, sensing that there is more to it than what conventional astrology books provide. What to me seemed most disturbing was the dichotomy between science, astronomy, and Western culture on the one hand, and the esoteric dimension of astrology, with its potential influence upon our universe and the individual, on the other. I was deeply disappointed with the quality of research and science found in the writings of most astrologers.
When widespread disillusionment with the scientific community began to take hold during the early 1970s, one field of scientific endeavor remained untouched: The science of the heavens. Astronomy, with its cosmic soul connection that unquestionably had its origins in the remote past, remains for us today as potent a symbol as ever of the need for a wider explanation of scientific endeavor.
The compulsive fascination with exploration of the unknown out there in our universe has existed within man for as long as he has been able to observe the structure and order of the cosmos. This preoccupation with the cosmic realm and its powerful influence over the affairs of man is firmly established; astronomy has always held a significance for us beyond the simple matter of navigation.
The ancient worship of planetary bodies in the heavens, the mystical astrologer whose interpretation of cosmic influence and its relationship to mans destiny and future, testify to the ancient past of the science of astronomy. More recent developments in technology and a deluge of information concerning cosmic systems have shown that the universe is far more bewildering and complex than was suspected. It is clear that our understanding of the celestial world beyond the sky is still in its infancy and the exact nature of man and his relationship to our vast universe is as yet only dimly perceived.
Since time immemorial, people have been moved by the unfolding perspective of the universe provided by ancient astronomers and astrologers. Yet with each new discovery, the information gleaned has seemed more confusing and baffling creating more mysteries and questions than clarity and answers. And now, in spite of the enormous and rapid social progress that can be attributed to advanced technology, most people perceive that scientific values threaten their very existence. When some physicists regard the singularity in which a star can collapse without limit until it has shrunk away to an overpowering invisibility as the end of space and time, we are gradually drawing close to the disintegration of the known laws of nature. Considering social as well as scientific implications, we should be searching for the interface between the supernatural and the natural, the bridge between the unknown and the known.
When I was led to the ancient and first known work on Kabbalah, the Sefer Yetzirah (Book of Formation), authored by Abraham the Patriarch, I realized that I had indeed found the missing link: A connection that would provide a vast realm of potential wisdom of astrology in all its deeper ramifications and importance for us today. In this book, I will explain what I found, which is an in-depth study into the fields of extra-terrestrial intelligences, interplanetary relationships, astronomy, and cosmic energy fields that will blow away the skepticism of many people in Western society. In a sense, this book will be a study of the subject of astrology as it was interpreted by a long line of kabbalists in their search for the ultimate meaning of the cosmos and its application to human life on this fleeting terrestrial plane. In this regard, what struck me most as I began my study was the cosmic language of which these kabbalists made use, and more importantly, the methodology that enabled them to use Kabbalah to perceive the essential reality. This understanding provided the kabbalists with answers as to how and why these cosmic intelligences began and about the nature of their internal structures.
All these factors taken together led me to the values and simple truths that have served to remove the veil of occultism that has for too long surrounded the study of astrology.
Einstein said:
Pure logical thinking cannot yield us any knowledge of the empirical world; all knowledge of reality starts from experience and ends in it. Propositions arrived at by purely logical means are completely empty as regards reality.
Albert Einstein, Essays in Science: Ideas and Opinions
When there is a discovery made beyond the obvious structure as we see it, this invites trouble, as does any attempt to persuade others to perceive things through a lens or perspective other than their own. Who, then, is to determine what is real or unreal concerning our planetary system? And how are they to do it? Most astronomical conclusions are based on the evolutionary theory of the Big Bang, but one must question the validity of these conclusions in their entirety, especially since the primary and essential question of the reason for the Big Bang never has been accurately determined.
From everything we have learned about astrophysics in the past half century, we still do not have answers to some simple questions, the foremost being: What really took place immediately prior to, during, and after the Big Bang?
There is, in fact, only one course that should be pursued: We must return to the moment of the Big Bang for a rendezvous with the cosmic intelligence that was there at the time, which we can do by connecting with those credible kabbalists who made just such a trip and returned from an encounter with the Big Bang by way of mystical time travel. While time travel, according to physicists, is beyond our present capabilities, traveling backward in time has been known for centuries to those steeped in the wisdom of Kabbalah. Please stay with me here, and I will explain.
The traditional notions of space and time, once considered separate and distinct, became inextricably linked by Einsteins theory of relativity. Subsequently, they were recognized by scientists as a fourth dimension of our universe, and this new understanding led to the realization that we can move through time just as we move through space. Relativity has taken us beyond our consciousness and experience, and conventional reasoning seems to have become obsolete.
